  thanks for uploading the song "athu mettule" from "gramathu athiyayam"..i can't recollect when i last listened to this song..however, i do remember the first time; played on ceylon radio in "pudhu vellam"..i liked the song the very instant ..hmm..days have been flying by fast..

  I would like to know if this song has been composed by IR: "Nilavonru Kandaen En Jannalil..Kanavonru kandaen Ivvaelayil...." by SPB and SJ.
  Also about the song "Nilavu Thoongum Neram Ninaivu Thoongidadu..." Is this from the movie "Kungamachimil"?

  I would like to know if this song "Machi Mannaru En Manasukkulae Baejaru...", sung by Dr.IR and Chitra(not sure) is the recent one. Any information would be helpful.
  
  Is there any site having this song?
  I can upload if no site is having this song.
  The interludes are very good in this song.
  In particular, Dr.IR's voice expresses the mood of a happy person living in some "cheri".

  Can somebody upload "poongaatriley" from paattu paada vaa ? It is a terrific song unheard by most tfm junta. It is more of a "tranquil" song like ennulley ennulley, guru charanam, unnai ethirparthen etc.. this is one which DFers must not miss. IMO, the best song in that album.

  That BGM from Raja Paarvai is easily one of the best violin bits I have ever heard in my life! Just too good! Gottta admit I listened to it atleast 50 times yesterday....and not surprisingly never grew tired of it!
  It also depressed me a bit at the same time,to think that "Motts" is not dishing out such music these days!

  Orusudar Manisudar sounds suspiciously like "Malai Koil Vaasalil" ! Did any of you find a similarity. The tune, orchestration and instruments are pretty similar to "Malai Koil".

  Good suggestion, seriously ! Kudos to Rex, Shibu and Vels ! These guys are redefining web music for us ! Just think about it - a few years ago, the only music available to us was thru' cassettes. The internet got us plenty of crappy music recorded very well or very good music recorded very poorly. Thanks to these three, we can listen to our own preferences with quality recording rather than depend on the whims and fancies and often genuine lack of resources of other people who host some songs. Also thanks is due to MSK and others who have supplied Rex with some of the rarest TFM music !!! And last but not the least, the other participants in this dicussion who have dug out rare melodies from the depths of their memories to provide us with a feast ! Hmm this post has become like a Vote of Thanks ;-))) but that doesn't mean the party's over yet - not by a long shot !!!

  Can you try including this in your collection ? No DFer should miss this IMO.
