Ajay Devgan and Vivek Oberoi can’t stop raving about the songs of Mani Ratnam’s Yuva. “A.R. Rahman and Mani Sir and dynamite together,” says Vivek on the sets of Indra Kumar and Ashok Thakeria’s Masti, and adds, “The six songs Rahman has recorded for the film are mind-blowing.”
Ajay Devgan, his co-star in Yuva and Masti, uses the same words to describe them. Incidentally, when the film was launched earlier this year, Mani Ratnam had decided not to have a single song in it.
Vivek also feels that Abhishek Bachchan’s is the best role and best performance in the film. “That guy’s career will take off in a big way after Yuva,” predicts Vivek.

Maddy,
we have no problems w/ u. And we wouldnt dream of letting u quit posting here.
It's jus that ARR threads are generally targetted by these vaitherichal cases who post all sort of disgusting stuff, invariably filled w/ asterisks. So when we see it being used, even if it isnt in the demeaning sense, it gives us the impression that the thread's going to the dogs. (Not that it isnt! ;), Especially since we are around!)
As for ur last statement, there are some basic differentiating factors.
1. We are not as musically knowledgable as some stalwarts in the IR thread.
2. Rahman fans (in general) belong to a completely different age group. So u cant expect the kind of thought provoking arguments u get elsewhere.
3. The Boys thread was kept alive because of vetti pechu like this!! Serious discussions started only after the movie was released. So I guess that gives us time till the 21st of May! ;)

I could sense .01% that you dint watch the movie because the IIFA previews are scheduled in first week of may and the IIFA screening is 2 days before Indian release dates. This I know I read somewhere but could not remember .

But even after film's release I hope people use he *SPOILER* alert tag when discussing the movie internals.

There are 2 sides of the coin to be looked into this matter.
1. Yesakki,Maddy dont mind loose talk. But it should not cross limit.

anyway the mixing quality found in AE is not present in NEW why? kyu? kenapa? yaen?
furthermore AE lyrics quality is very high..compare to recent songs....except for AE the only other song i enjoyed for lyrics was Kaathal Vanthal from Iyarkai..

And yeah, after a long time a movie has come which has nice lyrics. AE lyrics are a welcome change.

It is not that we don't give you anything useful in this thread. If there is a serious discussion, we definitely are a part of it. But how many times are you going to talk about the same thing? Unless you get some "new" info, you can just sit and stare. Again, as curses said, we are young and do not possess the music knowledge that some of the IR fans do. If you go to a IR thread, you see people analysing stuff with raagaas and comparing it to some earlier composition of his. It doesn't make any sense to me at all! Let somebody here do the same thing and we obviously aren't going to make fun of it. Just that don't expect it from us, we don't know!!
For those of you who do not know, check out the thread on E20U18. You know what people were talking about? Hotels in their city! You can ask V if you want, he talked abt "Thallu Vandis" near Mylapore Market! :-) But the moment the Audio released, it was all gone. People got serious.
So, if we have something serious to say, we would definitely mention it here. At the same time, if we have something funny, we would still go ahead! And yesterdays discussions were all about Aayidha Ezhuththu. Though it wasn't exactly sensible, it definitely wasn't personal talk! ;-)
