  Karthik is the most arrongant and unprofessional singer in the whole music industry.He is always late for recordings, shows or any function and also has a big attitude problem. It is really tough for such arrogant people to last longer in the industry

  Actually he is the friend of singer Sreenivas(also take part of Ar Rahman harmony)who talk about Karthik to ARR. ARR did an essay with him and you know the suite...

  Just check out the stats... I guess Karthik can be called as ARR's favourite singer in recent years. Amazing that he has got a song in all his movies in the recent years. And getting 3 songs in one ARR movie is something mindblowing.

  Have you guys heard "Aval ulaga azhagiye". It is a very good song. Listen to the last part of the song where he finishes off with some beautiful rendering. The progression patterns shows that he is technically sound too, as he anyway should be as he knows classical. As some one mentioned he has a thin voice (not bassy) and suits specific actors and some occassions he is wrongly used (mismatch with person on screen).
  
  Attitude (if vijayendran has said a fact) is highly important for any field for that matter.
  
  Hope God give him all success.
