  For example,
  1)Kannamma kadhal ennum kavidhai solladi - Vanna vanna pookkal
  In this song,the charanam has the following lines:
  "kai veesi pogindra vaigasi megam
  kai theerndhu padatho dhanyasi raagam" - where the raagam "dhanyaasi" is mentioned. I understand that the raagam of this song is "dhanyasi". Please list anymore that would fall into this criteria.

  The Ragamalika song oru naaL pOdumA contains ThOdi, Dharbar, Mohanam, KAnada etc.
  
  Another Ragamalika song Vendriduvaen in the movie Agathiyar contains Bhairavi, ThOdi,Aarabi, Bhagashri, Mohanam, Shanmugapriya etc.

  1. In The song "aval oru menagai, en abhimaana thaaragai" from Natchatthiram (based on the ragam Sivaranjani), the hero sings out "Sivaranjani................."
  
  2. The song in the movie Agni natchathram "ninnu kori varnam varnam isaikkayil vunnai thedi varanum" (based on the ragam Mohanam), the heroine sings in the 2nd charanam "vanna paavai mohanam, vaadippona kaaranam ....."
  
  There are atleast one or two old songs of Tyagaraja Bhaagavathar (if any one has listened to them) contain names of ragas on which the lines are based
  
  e.g. 1. In the song "kavalaiyai theerpadhu naattiya kalaiyae" (based on the ragam Nattakurinji, he sings "raagathil sirandhadhu nattakurinji".
  
  2. Read the following song:
  
  The hero starts:
  
  vasantha-ruthu mana moganame,malarndha malar idhazh manam kamaz thendral (1 st line)
  
  malligai poongodi kunthalavarali, moittha malar nagai kulunga vilangum, (heroine sings)
  
  
  nagai paitthiyam yadhukulaambodhi-lum kanavilum nanavilum idhe sindhaiyaa (hero sings)
  
  
  suruti konarndhu kodhutthu alutthaar polave sollukku panjamillai (heroine replies )
  
  
  the four lines were respectively based on the ragas vasantha,kunthalavarali, yadhukula kambhodi and suruti.
  
  
  similarly, in the movie "meera", the famous song "giridhara gopala!!", based on Mohanam, contains the words "mana-mohanaangaara".

  "Oru naal pothumaa" and "veenai kodiyudaya
  vEndhanE" strictly do not belong to songs
  with 'Ragamuthirai', because the main raga
  name doesn't appear in the lyrics.
  
  We should also exclude songs which just
  contain some raga name. e.g. "sundari
  neeyum"("mohana raagam nin dhegam"), many
  songs with "bhoopalam".

  irukke :-)
  sarasangi, hamsadhwani, rajani, (ena)kedaaram
  (endrirukka), saraswati, etc.
  
  yes, spb thinarufied a bit. Also,
  the raga bhavam is not quite good

  Poo pookum masam thai maasam... from varsham 16 is not in 'Malayamarutham' . It is Raja's usual mix of Keeravani & with N2 /D2. Hence this should not be included under one of the ragamuthirai type of songs.

  How about the song "kadavul vaazhum kovilile karpoora deepam! kalai izhandha maadhathile mukhari raagam" (film "oru thalai raagam"). Is this, by any chance, based on the ragam Mukhari? (it does not look like so)

  Paadum paravaigal song is indeed keeravani.
  I've alreday included in my list.
  
  shashi,
  malayamarutham is the closest raga(i.e. leave
  out the IR's typical accidentals) I could
  find for this song. If I remember right,
  M1 is not stressed at all. So I think
  it cannot be keeravani. Correct me if I'm
  wrong.

  O.T.R song is not mukhari. I think it's
  MMgowla. (watch closely the lines "..kalai

  Another interesting song is "maraindirundhe paarkum marmamenna" from the movie "Thillanaa mohanaambaal". This song is based on the ragam Shanmukhapriya. Though the lyrics does not have the full name "shanmukhapriya", the use of the this raga for the situation is apt. The hero's (sivaji"s) name in the movie Sikkal Shanmukha-sundaram. The situation of the song is: the heroine (padmini) is giving a dance performance. Everybody belonging to Sivaji's group (nadaswaram player in the movie) wants to attend,but the hero says "no". But his group go out(without sivaji's knowledge). But to their surprise, they (particularly, Balaiyaa) watches sivaji standing behind him behind a pillar(so that padmini would not see him) and watching padmini's performance. But padmini could still see him, and she starts the song "maraindhirundhe paarkum marmamenna", on shanmukapriya {padmini is shanmukha-sundaram's priya (lover) in the movie}. She finishes calling out "enai aalum Shanmukhaa!!!".

  One more song which has a raga built into it is
  "Enna samayalo" in Unnal mudiyum thambi.It has shades of kalyani,vasantha."ragam vasanta athay rusithu parka rasam tha".Its is one of the masterpieces of IR.

  After playing the song on keyboard I am sure the raga of the song Poopookum masam thai maasam... is not Malayamarutham.
  
  The notes for Malayamarutham are S R1 G3 P D2 N2 S(upper).
  
  The notes for the above song are N3(lower) S R2 G2 P D1 N2 S(upper) with occasional use of M1.
  
  In fact you can most closely relate these notes to Keeravani with N2 being the anyaswaram (outsider).
  
  I certainly agree that the M1 has been used mildly only in the 2nd and 3rd stanza's.

  Another song in the list is "Adhisaya ragam, aananda ragam" from Apoorva Ragangal. The pallavi and charanam of this song are based on a ragam called "Mahathi" (a raga with only 4 notes, i think, invented by Dr M. Balamuralikrishna).
  
  The last four lines of this song are based on the ragam Bairavi, which appears in the lyrics:
  
  
  "oru puram paarthaal midhilaiyin maithili,
  maru puram paarthaal kaaviri madhavi,
  mugam mattum paarthaal nilavin edhiroli,
  muzhuvadhum paarthaal aval oru bairavi"

  Did you know Dr. Balamuralikrishna's daughters name is "Mahathi". He did popularise this raga and liked it so much that he must have named his daughter too by it.
  
  Also, you had asked about the raga of the song "Devadhai pol oru..." in gopura vaasalile. I think this is it is primarily based on the Kaamboji with M2 or the "Kalyani's Ma" being used in the words "naangal illa maangal" in the 2nd stanza.
