Recently, I also got the CD of Veera. Never can believe the prelude of the Maadathiley Kanni Maadathiley song. I don't if it is even possible for a 100 geniuses together to create such a thrilling prelude!

I also got Desiya Geetham. IMHO, the title song sungs by Yesudas is the best ever patriotic song that is composed with a mindblowing classic orchestral and choral work. The effect of the choral sound was like sitting in a Star Wars film. Likewise the Hariharan song Hey Nanba.... the second interlude is a work by itself.

I am praying for the universal recognition of the Isaignani.

Hi friends,
I was able to upload 6 songs from 1976-1979 movies of IR.Assorted songs frm teh follwing movies.

Kizhakkey pogum rail
Annai Ore aalayam
Avar ennakey sontham(surangani song)
Ore muththam
Nallathoru kudumbam
Gramathu athiyayam

All the songs are in my "what's new" section.

Probably the next upload will be after 23rd.

I am checking the random play option from Velraja's place in Atlanta. It is playing fine. Can you point out the specific problem which you are witnessing??? I will try my best to rectify that.....(The problem is that I do not have computer access right now until June 30). Sometimes it might be even due to net congestion.

Excellent collection of IR songs ! I was so thrilled to listen Aaadi pattam song from Michel Madhana Kamarasan. Not very many would knowning that song. Can you try to get the song
1) "Idhoo en thendral mandrathil Paadum" by KS chitra. I don't remember the movie but I can give some clue abt this. This one Manirathnam movie dubbed one acted by Anil Kapoor & Lakshmi.
(I think dubbed from malayalam one) also another
song in this movie by 2) Mano Ore Ponn Maan Ore Pen Maan. So melodies one.

3) Varaadha vandha naayagan by Arun Mozhi & S. Janaki film Thaalatu Paadava (Parthiban movie).

I would appreciate your effort,if you get these songs.

The first song you refered to is from the movie Pallavi Anupallavi Manirathnam's first movie in kannada. The original songs are available at Balaji's or Shibu's site if I am right.

The songs were all played in a sequence and then suddenly some 100 songs were skipped and the counter showed song #120. Take your time to correct it. Keep me posted about your latest coordinates. Hi to Vels

Hi Friends,
One of the best of IR in recent times was "Marudaani Chaar Eduthu" from ILAYA RAAGAM. Has anyone heard it? I have uploaded that song at my site. It is a "forest" song like 'Aasaya Kaathula Thoothu Vittu", which IR scores very well.

Thanks for the songs from Kaakai chiraginile. The funny SPB song is beautiful. A song in raag Desh from IR after a long time. (His last was the song "gopiyargal" from Mallu Vetti Minor.)
