well i heard that his next flim would be with vijay n priyankachoupra staring in it
and the cd's will be out in july
and another one with prabhudeva staring in it n this will out in june i guess...
well more to come from him n i hope that he make's it big....

Yes. Winner was released couple of days back. I got hold of it this morning. It has six songs.

1. Eye - Devan

5. engirundhai - Harish ragavendra

Sunder C is the director, so I haven't expected much from this album. After my first hearing,'Eye' song's rhythm part is very good and it has been recorded very well. It will hit the charts for sure. 'kOzhi' is an average song. The rest are listenable and good. I would rate this album better than his recent AM, KS and bAlA.

BTW, right now 'kAthal konden' is the number one selling album.

Eye song in winner is amazing, a real western song with great soul in it. Lyrics are catchy too.
Udit sounds great in his song as well aside from his few pronunciation errors.
Mahalakshmi Iyer makes a great comeback after a long time with a wonderful melody song with Srinivas.
Kozhi Kokka, the less said the better.
Harish sounds great as usual, nice songs, good orchestration.
Mathaapoo, is good, Tippu has improved, however female vocals are not up to the mark. Premji is not worth mentioning, YSR needs to stop spoiling songs by using him.

BTW Eye song is very peppy and has a lot of punch, but again Devan spoils the songs with his poor vocals.If it was sung by SM or HH or even Karthik, would have been even more of a hit.

I wasn't even pointing out 'talk' idiot. You dont say messaging 'on' a page. 'on' can be used with the word 'topic' or 'stage' ( For exabmle: Talk on a stage ), But not used in 'talk on a group/people... but talk in a group/people).

"Talk 'in' the newtfmpage" is the correct form. You dont even know the basic grammer man.

There is nothing wrong in hiding the 'and' clause. Go Learn = GO and Learn = Go then Learn

iam hearing the 1st one - EYE - hmm.... horrible encoding of the song..... i hear the good old "hiss" in the background.... and as MPR said - this might sell with the masses - but on the long run - hmm.... no one would be bothered about this song.....

There was Bala at the helm to demand such songs from YSR for Nanda.If a person of Bala's class comes to YSR,we r bound to get songs of Nanda's calibre.Till that........

I am sure Bala, Mownam Pesiyathey, April Matham had hit songs. But 3 good songs. He used to give 100% good albums, i dont find that class anymore in YSR.

Winner songs are good ..This is my first impression

1.Ey Eye song is a excellent foot tapping
number ...

2.UDIT should have been avoided ,SPB should have been used ...It is excellent song though
3.mAthapoo is a averegae song ..sounds like "sadu gudu " song from Mandhai thirudi vittai ..

4.Muthul Murai is a very different song .....The beats used are fresh ..

5.ENginurundhai is a good melody ,it sounds like the "Yen Anbae song " from Mounam pesiadhae ..

6.KJozhi Kokkara -UDITh ..the starting is similar to Poo Poovai start ..but a good dapanguthu ...

But i guess we are listening to songs which will last for a life time of a "ISAL"..These songs are relying on sounds ...But these songs are defintely Next X gen songs

HI,

Ey Eye is one of the best R&B attempt by any of Indian MD's. It is on par with any of the R&B hits.
I guess Yuvan is right up there in terms of arrangement, rhytms, new sounds, recording.

But I still feel that he should concentrate more on the tune as such. (It is like bowling the right line but not the right length vice versa ). May be should take some lessons from his dad and get more classical influence into his music.
If he does that he can certainly challenge Rahman.

Got Winner Cassette today - yet to listen to the songs ... But I am surprised at the number of Yuvans' photos in the cassette cover, I could see atleast 4 Yuvans in the front and back cover ! Even the Hero Prashanth Appears only twice :-)

Is he (yuvan) that popular among 'audio cassette' / CD Buyers ???? :-)

In a TV interview, Yuvan mentioned that he has done a remix of IR's old Disco song for a movie. I was expecting it in 'Winner', but it isn't there. I guess it will be in 'geethai'...
