  Some rules:
  
  1. Restricted to songs picturised at least 50 years before. i.e. no song before 1948. Songs like
  "Ayyayo solla vetkamaghudhe" in Vedhala Ulagam picturised on Sarangapani wont qualify.
  
  2. The song should hv been picturised on a person who plays a comedian or comedinne in that movie in a reasonably funny situation. e.g. Rajinikanth was very funny in Thambikku Endha Vooru. Songs picturised on him in that movie wont qualify. Nagesh played a tragicomic hero in "Neerkkumizhi". "Aadi Adangum Vaazhkkai" wont qualify. "Podachonna Pottukkiren" picturised on Srikkanth in "Poova Thalaiya" will qualify even though Srikkanth was not primarily a comedian.

  Question no.1. A song..this is the situation...VKR oru old song maathiri paaduvaar. Film: Un kannil neer vazhinthaal.. Can this song be listed under this topic.
  Question no.2. Aduthaathu ambujathai parthela..
  Film: Ethir neechal. Can this song be listed under this topic as the actors were not comedians in that movie.
  Question no.3. Nagesh and others in Tiruvarutselvar, a song in a river side?.
  Question no.4. Surili group in Sattam en kaiyil.?
  RV..unka topic conditions innum koncham cleara sollungalen please. I will give u another situation..please tell us whether it may come under this topic or not. Ok here is the situation Actor/Director..etc Mr. Visu used to make comedies in his dialogues, in one of his movies he used 'oore therinchukitten ulagam purinchukitten' from Padikkathavan to present the same kind of situation in his movie..What is that movie and can we add that song in this topic??.   Video would be the ultimate.
  
  This is a grey area. Thats why I am trying to set some rules.
  
  1. Mamavukku Kuduma Kuduma qualifies. There are two Kamals and one of them is a comic character. ( At least Kamal tries to be comic. ) Since Mamavukku Kuduma Kuduma is picturised on this Kamal - at least primarily - this will make the grade.
  
  2. I dont know the songs you are referring to as VKR, Nagesh and Suruli/Visu. So cant comment. Maybe you can mention the songs. Use your judgement.
  
  3. Adutthatthu Ambujam definitely qualifies. Srikkanth playes a role similar in concept to that of Kamal as Chaplin Chellappa in Punnagai Mannan.
  In the first set of examples, I hv used another song by Srikkanth "Podachonna Pottukkiren" as one that qualifies.
  
  4. Basically I want to eliminate songs like "Onnume Puriyale Ulagatthile". I also want to eliminate songs like "Mudhal Mudhalaga Kaadhal Duet". Funny lyric which will make the listener smile, but I dont think thats what I want to cover.
  At the same time, I want to cover "Mutthuk Kulikka Vaareeyalla" - even though ostensibly a love duet, the aim is to make the listener smile/laugh. I want to cover "Varavu Ettana" even though the lyrics are on the moralistic side. "Adutthatthu Ambujam" is a good choice. "Vaangonna" is not a good choice.

  RV...Pandiya Rajannu oru actor irunthare(irukkarannu theriyavillai) avarode duets ellam comedya irukkunga. Most of his films i have ever seen, heroine used to be taller than him and it seems like a comedy to me. Can we list his songs in this topic?. (Kopam vendam Mr. RV enakku ketkaththan theriyum pathil solla theriyaathu!!!).

  1. Kai Vaichaalum Vaikkama - I dont know this one. Saw the movie long back and remember only the dialogues etc. I will leave it to your discretion whether the song was actually picturised on an actor/actress playing a comedian(enne) role in that movie.
  
  2. Enna Samaiyalo is a borderline case. Since Kamal sings it along with his thangacchi, anni etc., technically this song has been picturised on "sideys". Will let go.
  
  3. I dont remember any song like "Katthiyai Theetadhe" in Naan or Moondreztthu. I think there is a song picturised on MR Radha in a vert old movie with a similar lyric.
  
  4. Kasi Yaatthirai song is "Anjaneya Hanumanthaiya". Was not very funny but meets all qualifications.
  
  5. "Kaadhal Kasakkudhaiya" will definitely qualify.
  
  Now some of my favorites:
  1. Jambulingame Jadadhara in Kasedhan Kadavulada. Picturised on Thengai and Muthuraman, this one was funny and the main singer is a comedian.
  
  2. Adutthaatthu Ambujam in Edhir Neechal. Srikkanth and Sowcar are comedian/comedienne in that movie.
  
  3. Sedhi Ketto in Edhir Neechal.
  
  4. Muthuk Kulikka Vaareyala in Anubhavi Raja Anubhavi.
  
  5. Beautiful Excellent in Manam Oru Kurangu - Cho and some actress.
  
  6. Konjam Odhungu in ??? Picturised on Suruli.
  
  7. Vignaanatthai Valakkap Porendi in ??? Picturised on NSK and TA Madhuram.
  
  8. Ullasamagave Ulagatthai Aalave in Penn. Picturised on S. Balachander and sung by Chandrababu.
  
  9. Alagaram Edhukkadi in Mr. Sampath. Picturised on Cho and Manorama.
  
  10. Vaa Vaadhyare Oottande in Bommalattam. Picturised on Manorama and Cho.
  
  11. Marugo Marugo in Sathi Leelavathi picturised on Kamal and Kovai Sarala.
  
  12. Varavu Ettana in Bama Vijayam. Picturised on a host of actor/actresses.
