Astro's 3rd Vaanavil Talent Quest - what a dissapoinment !!

i just watch d show life on Astro yesterday.. i'm totally dissapointed with the judges.. wat is Deva up to?? first he choose the best among 4 finalists..which i though is THE final decision.. but i was shock that the singer Anuradha, who Deva chooses at 4th place..WON the first price, after the second judgement by the other judges.. she's not that good compared to the other 3 contestant...what do u ppl say?????

  Hi there,
  I myself and my husband, his father and his mother could not sleep that night after the decision about Anuradha winning the 1st title for the VTQ03, my god we were speaking about it the whole night. This is not fair, u have to ask the tv viewers first for their favourite winner ( to respect the viewer vote) then just because it is a talent quest and not a favouritism quest u have to leave it to the Judges from India to decide. I feel they know better about raga, talam and sruthi where else we as viewer only judge by our favouritism. U cant take favouritism as the final judgement that is wrong, it must be just a part of the judgement then leave it to the experts and respect their judgement OK. I was very very dissappointed last year hope this year the same thing will not happen. Kavitha deserves to win OK she was the best and Saravanakumar u r just amaizing i hope u will do better in your own music.

  yes..the guy look like madhavan. the girl is pretty n talented. she is a 'ukm graduate' is i'm not wrong becoz i remember her hosting the campus deepavali nite in 2000. anybody can remember?? good job guys!! the guy needs to reduce shaking his head and give a more steady look.

  I think both the host hosted well..altough they are not 100% perfect..I think they can still improve...well i have faith that they will do better the next time...anyway.good choice....Can anyone give me the profile of both the host.. I want to get to know them well...plss....

  This year the VTQ 2004 is again a disappointment since the first heat. Jaya needs to stop showing his 32 teeth and his "muuli" is like he just robbed a bank!Sivagami is pretty BUT she is over acting and talks TOO much @ "arekeranning" I wonder where they got their costumes from!
  After all the singers have sung, while waiting for the results to be announced, another "tragedy" occurs!....i'm talking about the carnatic group, and the karagatam group.It's not suitable to be shown at 11.30pm!!! We are half asleep!!!The so call comedy sketch by our local group...my god!....they ARE NOT FUNNY BUT IRRITATING!
  The two judges, Ganggai Amaran and T.L Maharajan did not even give a proper comment on the singers" They said "ellorom nalla padinargal"...is this a comment? The lady judge was ok because she gave comment on each singers.
  There's a lot to change and sometimes i feel that the Malay programme on ch 4, Akademi Fantasia is worth watching!

  Yes...I agree..the judges did not comment properly on the singers...that is really boring..and i find the singers this time are not really good....and the program is not as quality as last time....they should learn a lot from AF 04

  yeah...u ar right....actually the 3rd VTQ must be better than the previous.., but in this case it is worst...
  
  the good example is Akademi Fantasia 2. It is much more improved than the 1st one...VANAVIL should lear from ASTRO RIA.

  to tell the truth, i watch VTQ only when the was a ADV in the Akademi Fanatasia 2...VTQ is realy boring...i donno how their select the singer...

  Yes....u r right...the singers are not up to the standard.As u say SSwarangal is better altough it is not done in a very big level. I think they should do something to make the Talent Quest interesting..may be they can change the format a bit..in my opinionla, they should be tested in all languages..For eg, sing one malay song, english and one Tamil/Hindi..coz the way they conduct the progarmme very boringla..every year the same thing.hmmmmm

  hey,guys why ha u all ,complaining the same thing all the time.IF U ALL THINK NOT GOOD WITH THEIR PERFORMANCE WHY DONT U ALL GO AND CONDUCT THE PROGRAM.WE AS MALAYSIAN SHOULD MOTIVATE THEM INSTEAD CONDEMN ALL THE TIME.WHAT KIND OF CHARACTER U ALL HAVE, SHAME ON U!!IF THEY MAKE MISTAKE,GIVE OPINION IN PROPER WAY BESIDE TELLING ALL KIND OF DIRTY WORDS AND BLA BLA BLA.IF THEIR PERFORMANCE IS GOOD ENCOURAGE THEM.
  IF U ALL CAN'T DO THAT JUST SHUT UP AND WATCH IT.
  MAYBE THAT IS YOU ALL FATE TO SEE THAT.

  Excuse me SUMI, do realise that there are so many of them compalining. That shows that the programme
  has so may "errors". The show in 2001, 2002 and 2003 were BETTER than this year!The reason we complain is because they should have improved in quality after doing 3 seasons (2001-03), but u don't get the quality that u are supposed to get! We have the right to complain since we are paying monthly!!Well, may be u have a friend or a relative working there and that's why you are supporting them, although u see the reality!

  Sumi...yes i agree with u , we as Malaysian should motivate them(u mean the VANAVIL right) How many time to motivate...this is not the 1st time it is 3rd time. It should be better the other session.
  We are not paying to see crap. We as a working person have jut 3 - 4 hours to watch movies in the TV. So we need good entertainment. Why Astro ria can do VANAVIL can't. Even Astro Ria don't have much of adv i mean outside adv. Vanavil lot of adv.
  
  I think u ar working with ASTRO vanavil. Thats Y u ar backing them. Commonlah SUMI wake up. We have right to vocie.

  Wow..wonderful Amesh... a very good feedback...I agree with u as well...They should consider the views of people who are watching the program and try to work out something in order to make the program look better.
