There are lot of Songs in which SPB and SJ has done casual sirippugal mostly in IR compositions.

  I have heard Gangai Amaran say that SPB's naughty laugh started with the old song, "Thoduvathenna Thendralo Malargalo".

  SPB, I think has almost made it succeess
  symbol for many of his songs , especially when
  he sings for Kamal, Mohan and Rajni to 'Smiles'
  in his songs. I think all of these actors are
  extremely good in delivering the most suitable
  gesture before the camera. If I was asked who
  does the best I would give 100 marks to all
  the three. We will take a different example
  of a song 'Agaya Gangai Poonthen ' from
  Darma Yuddham which is sung by Malaysia
  Vasu and S Janank. Janaki goes smiling as
  she says 'devalogam therindha pinnum...' but
  Malaysia has no casual gestures in it. Can
  anybody say if malaysia has 'smiled' in any song?

  When i think of SPB laughing., the first song that i remember is 'kakakaakikiikiiikukakakekukukukukekeee'., ie puthuchcheeri kachcheri from 'Singaravelan'., i think SPB's sirippu suits well to KAMAL in many songs - listen to telugu version of 'kanmani anbodu./,' from GUNA!

  Talking of Sirippu,
  have you listened to this song,
  SIRITTA MUGAMUM KANDU from Alaigal Oyvathillai?
  I was disappointed that it didn't figure in the film, cos I watched the shooting in Nagercoil. It was a funny number I liked as a kid. IR(Karthik) is teaching SJ (Radha) to sing this song, and she can never get the tune right, keeps making mistakes and everytime he repeats the line SIRITTA MUGAMUM KANDU, he adds a degree of anger to it and SJ keeps adding a degree of helplessness and finally ends up crying like a baby. A funny song indeed.

  Kolangal is an IV Sasi tamil movie. IMO it has 3 very good melodic numbers - 'siru kuttil chinna kookilam iraNdu' by Mano & KSC - one of my all time mano favourites.; 'mauna raagam mana veeNai meettukinRa maalai' - a carnatic music based song by SJ & 'ullaasap poongkaatRee intha urengum un veedu' by KSC. check if any of ur friends have the cassette. Don't miss it yaar ! its a great album !

  There is another old song picturised on Gemini and Savithri. I forget the name of the movie. Singers are TMS and PS.
  TMS : Siritththaalum Kanneer Varum (Ringing laugh by Gemini on the soundtrack)
  PS : Azhuthaalum Kanneer Varum (Sobbing from PS I
  think)
  TMS : Uraviniley Sirippu Varum
  PS : Piriviniley Azhugai Varum
  ..... and so on.
  
  Though the voice of TMS never sat comfortably on GG, this song is memorable for some excellent laughter from GG.

  Much as I respect Gangai Amaran, I dont think SPB's laughter started with Thoduvanthenna Thendralo Malargalo from "Sabatham" though that is a great melodious song.
  IMHO, it started atleast by "Angam Pudhuvitham Azhaginil Oru Vitham Nangai Mugam Navarasa Nilavu" with LRE in VEETTUKKU VEEDU, if not earlier.
  Incidentally, that was a great period for SPB with a distinctive style.
