  Could you compare IR/MSV combo with IR/ARR combo. MSV and IR had a great combo because both had mutual respect for each other. It needs magnanimity on both ends to jointly perform a success. I don't think ARR has that great a heart to join with the great maestro and give something great. IR could join with Zakir Hussain and produce effective stuff.
  
  Always IR did a great job in combo. After MSV he did join with 5 Hungarian artists ( new instruments) and gave spellbound music in "GURU".
  So I do have full confidence if Ustad and the Maestro join and help Kamal to give his dream venture a big hand.

  I don't think Marudhanayagam will come out. But, i don't know how far this IR&ARR combo is true. Anybody can help in this regard? But for me it is very hard to accept IR & ARR combo. MSV & IR combo is totally different. Nobody can argue MSV&IR why not IR&ARR. Anyhow i need result from our TFM & Kamal fans.
  
  Why our people don't put some tamizh MIDI files. If anybody trying to do that my hearty wishes to them. I welcome that.

  I don't think this is a true massage.JPS try to fool us.This is not good.Last sunday i read in the newspaper that in a musical night AR has put a ring in IR finger but IR put back the ring in AR finger.From here we know that IR do not like work together with AR.AR don't reach that standard.For example,another word for music is IR(music is IR and IR is music).He is god of music.So don't try to do like this again.

  According the interview of 'Drums' Siva in Kumudam, (2-7-98) ARR worked with IR in 'Punnagai Mannan' during that time computer re-recording gave some trouble and they used "live play".
  
  Why can't ARR-IR together score the music for a film?? give me proper reason..
  
  Thalaivarukkum - ARRkkuma??? No chance blah,blah... ellam vENDam.. IR is not the authority of TFM.

  both of them have contrasting thoughts as far as music is concerned. I don't think, a product out of their combination would be good.

  Nothing wrong in IR & ARR working together. It would be great if two of them scores for a movie.
  
  They were so many assistants/members of IR gorup who became a MD of their own lately:
  
  1. narashimhan
  2. ARR
  3. uttam singh [MD of Dil tho pAgal hi, Conductor of India 24 hours]
  
  They way IR worked with these guys were different when they were in his team. But if he has to score music with any of these guys, the approach has to be entirly different as now they have their own "isai-kena isaindhidum rasihargal raajjiyam".
  
  IR may have to compromise certain things in going for a combo, which we, the IR fans, dont want him to do due to the sole reason that we are extremely satisfied with his own-stylish-spontaneous score. This argument applies to ARR as well as he is equally talented artist. [I have no doubt abt this. Even after working under IR, there is no trace of IR style in his music! He could able to create his own stamp!] Too many cooks might spoil the feast!
  
  But already the music produced by Deva Sir seems to be a concoction of IR & ARR. So we are not really looking forward for IR-ARR merger!

  Bringing together IR and ARR in the same movie was attempted last year by director, JAYARAJ, who won (again) the national award for best director earlier this year. Attached is an excerpt from an article in "The Week" magazine which was published in July 1997. I am not sure of the status of the film that is mentioned in this article. I think JAYARAJ won the best director award for a different film than the one mentioned in this article.
