  Yes maddy these are musical hit. They are not ARR's hit(Movie).
  Minsarakanavu - AVM,Rajeev menon,Kajol,Prabudeva
  Kadal desam - Kathir,Tabu and the movie is a high budget.
  Kathalar dinam - Kathir, sonali bendre
  Jeans - sankar, aiswarya rai
  Taal - Subas gai(one of the best director in hindi),aiswarya rai
  Kadalan - sankar, prabudeva,nagma.
  
  Do you know how far ARR known in these following movies

  It is true nobody is considering ARR in the film idustry now. YSR,HJ,VS already overtaken him. After the flop like parasuram, udaya,KV etc..in tamilnadu nobody is interested to buy ARR's cassette. This is the fact now. ARR may be super star in malasiya!!!!.But not in tamilnadu.
  
  I want to say that ARR made several hit albums in the past and the new MD's ruling now. By arguing again and again it will not get back ARR to his past situation. Ok.
  
  YSR gave continues hit in the past without any big banner - Tulluvatho ilamai,kadal kondein and with flop movie like manathai thirudivittai,. He is the No.1 MD now.

  ppl keep on saying that ARR used to deliver hits ,but now no more...which i obviously disagree.do you guys know that the sales for boys audio has reached 1 lacs in india ?i heared this news from star music ppl only yesterday...and in malaysia,i heared boys audio is selling like hot cakes!!!

  hey guys hold on mannnnn..... ARR is the best MD.....4 national awards... reviving the tamil film music.... who else can do it?? YSR?? till now YSR has not given a mega-hit musical album whereas ARR gave a mega-hit album in his 3rd film only ( Gentleman)...... so still ARR is no.1... but YSR has chance after 3-5 yrs. maybe....

  You do sruprise everybody by your immature posts.. anyways.. ARR wasgiving hit albums in the past (not IS giving even appreciative albums leave alone hits).. Tell from your heart that you liked each and every song in boyz is gr8 and it is mega hit and tell to yourself if everybody would like it (Except Dating which is very catchy)..
  
  i am not going to post anymore.. Many people would consider IR as their manasiga guru, how many people consider ARR in the same level, that is called recognition and constitutes more than an award, and calling best is not a good sign, coz IR for all the reasons is Better than the best. and best of the best when composing music for TFM.. (i dont care about other places.. which you might give as references. Stick to the topic).

  Maddy, bhavatharini won the national award. Does that mean she is the best ?
  YSR doesn't need chance in 3-5 years, he already has taken the top spot. Better you stop deluding yourself and accept the reality that ARR has lost his spark.

  Though it is annoying to categorize the best, it is not significant to answer people back..
  
  For ex: Russell crowe deserved the Oscar for his potrayal in Beautiful Mind rather than Gladiator. Denzel surely deserved better for his potrayal in Hurricane than Training Day. It takes turns.. More people from south are recognized esp from TN when it comes to Awards (National) recently than during days of MSV or IR..
  This does not constitute to being the best, may be the best of all recommended ones competing for the award.

  Maddy, I appreciate you accepting that YSR is the future. I can appreciate ARR's greatness, but you have to accept that ARR seems to have lost his spark, his songs are not amazing like they once were. Now he is dishing out mediocre songs that are not up to his olden times.
  I think people are more let down by ARR because he set a high standard for himself, but has been unable to maintain it in recent times.
  
  YSR however, started of a little shaky, but has now found firm footing in TFM and is producing hit after hit and great songs. He is in his element now and is better than ARR at this current time and I feel he will be for a long time to come.

  hey guys wait, he is coming back with a vengance.... i know that Boys wunt impress Tamils... but wait for "Kangalal Kaidhu Sei" by Bharathiraja.... it is an acid test for ARR... if he comes up with a classic then he stays on for another 10 yrs..... if he fails, he has ever-apreciating Bollywood to fall back on... btw YSR rocks with kadhal kondein and VS impressed with "Kana Kandein" song.... they are surely making it tuf for ARR...
