Rahman_Asian Mozart? Misfit Comparison

Ok..Guys...I feel like committing suicide when I hear Rahman being branded Eastern or Asian Mozart. Why all this hype and why all of a sudden this worthless comparison?

  IR fans i lose respect for u everytime ut ry to project IR as God or better than ARR, coz its fact our ARR is at the top of the game, if ARR was up against IR even in the 80s, ARR would have beaten him, its assumable. why dont u be like us and love music and not discriminate

  Eventhough I am a hardcore fan of ARR, I also basically dont agree to comparing him with Mozart.
  
  But ranking Ilayaraja with Mozart and Beethovan, c'mon Kiran are you mad or something? After all he is just a music director that too within South India.
  
  But Mozart and Beethoven are some of world's best composers. The world knows them. The most popular Indian composer outside India is A R Rahman. But even that wont take him into the ranks of Mozart and Beethoven.
  
  So try to accept facts. Dont be blinded with IR devotion. His golden age has ended.

  Why cannot ARR be compared to Mozart?? He's only started to grow in the international sphere, give it some time, after LOTR, he will reach further markets and take indian western fusion into new dimensions, no other indian composer has promoted indian music the way ARR has, face it IR fanz, i only see HJ, YSR and up and comming Jassie Gift as competitors to ARR, IR is not one.

  They didnt have to do that. Their music did that while IRs songs just stayed in the South. The best examples would be his hindi compositions. And what ARR did in hindi is a well known fact.

  I wont say that. But I can certainly say that Sachin is the most popular Indian cricketer in the world and he is better than Gavaskar, Vengsarkar or Amarnath.

  IR's music is conducted from a document, ARR's music is made through meditating onto God, he works from 1 in the morning, his music comes from God, he rarely gets in the way from that.   At times hj and ysr may have overtaken ARR in sales but VS has never done that.

  Cant believe gilli , thirumalai and recently released madure overtook AE. None of these movies (excluding Madure as I havent listened to it) have atleast 1 good song which you can hum. Songs like Appadi Podu and Jakkamma sound like that of Deva.
