  I read the article about V.G.sandhOsham,and was astounded. After makeing certain amount of money, reality is optional I guess.
  
  He mentions that Kambar wrote 12000 verses of Kambaramayanam, while he "kavich chakravarthy" wrote 35,000 poems, about three times the size. Boy the numbers speak for them selves.
  
  Hey guys, I got the dibs on being the next "kavich chakravarthy".
  
  I am hiring 1000 monkeys and using 1000 typewrites and will create 100,000 poems in one week. That is 8 times the Kambars work and should easily qualify me as the next "kavich chakravarthy".

  Coming back to VM, our man has taken a new avatar,
  on his birthday. He became "Kavi Perarasu". Tamil Nadu CM conferred him this title. Apparently, he gave away "Kaviarasu" title on his last birthday.
  So, our man is doubly delighted with this new avatar. We can all expect his "poems" on cine-stars like Kushboo (Annamalai), Rajini (many songs including Super Staru yaarunnu ketta) and Ice (Jeans), and words like MahaVervai etc. (Vervai-il irundhu promotion)
  
  If guys like VM who writes one or two good lines in one or two film songs (Vairamuthu-vin vaira varigal - true only 1 or 2 lines are good) can be a KAviPerarasu, why can't VGS who writes "vendum" ending song like our man (or is it poem?) be kavichakravarthi?
  
  Do you guys notice one more thing? People like VM, BR are always in one party - ruling party. They are close to Sasikala Natarajan, Karunanidhi and whoever rules.
  
  Talking abour VM's thannadakkam, VM came to Malaysia once in 1995/6, he was interviewed by RTM listeners (anybody can call in to talk to him). One guy asked him if VM will write a good song for him. It's such a junta question VM could've passed it. Our man said, no problem, nalla kavidhai yendral adharkku neriya selavagum; neengal ready endral naanum ready. He's no more than a tamil viyabhari. He went on to say on radio that he's the authority for tamil kavidhai in TN, forgetting that there could be listeners from TN who fully know what his plight is in TN.

  VM once said "Ithuvaraikkum Thamizh enakku soru pottathu. Inumel naan Thamizhukku choru pOdappogiren" My question is, is Thamizh depending on VM for survival? He was cornered and he said" En thaai muthalil enakku choru podukiraal. Naan valarnhta pinnal tthaaikku choru poduvathu enna thappu?" Fine, but what is the type of choru that he is repaying his mother? All oosi adithu pona pazhaya choru.
  
  2. While in Malaysia he was asked as to why he used a lot of vulgar words. He justified by saying that Kannadasan and Pattukottai too wrote such sings. Is it proper to give this excuse. Going by the same reasoning can we also ask him since Kannadasan and Pattukottai have written excellent songs how come VM is not writing such goods songs?
  
  One idiot (I repeat he is truly idiot) said these words: "Shoulkd VM been born during the time of Barathiyar, Bharathiyar would have lost in poetic ability. Had VM been alive during the time of Bharathithasan , Bharathithasan would have lost to VM...." His is truly an empty vessel as he does not know much Tamil. He is an Anglo Indian. Later we cornered him and he admitted that he was pre-prepared to say these things. Who had prepared him. Nver mind. If VM was of thannadakkam , he should havce stopped this idiot. But he acknolwledged.
  
  VM was seen with MGR several times. Then with Jayalalitha, now with Mu.Ka. Mu Ka always needs cine people around him. He knows the power of cinema.
  
  In Malaysia there is one Tamil daily that blows the trumpet of VM, all because the management of that daily has joined hands with VM in a hotel industry in Bangalore. If not fort this paper, VM would not be popular in Malaysia.
  
  Lastly, it is most unfortunate that by and large, the main supporters of VM are thos of younger generation who have not tasted the nectar of the valuable cine songs of the fifites and sixties.
  
  There is a saying "Aalai illaatha ooril iluppai poo chakkarai" In a place where there is no sugar factory, eople become contented with nectar from the iluppai flower. In the absence of able cine poets, VM has to be accepted as a sad alternative.

  Ippidi paarthaal....Vaali has got better stuff then him, don't you think. One example is 'kOduthathEllaam kOduthaan avan yaarukkaaga kOduthaan'. Why wasn't Vaali given these 'paddams'. Vairamuthu is just a self-promoter and he will suck up to anyone in power.

  VM said it took him 30 days to compose the song "Veerapaandi Kottayile". Based on the time taken to compose that particular song is a masterpiece, he says. What about those who write immortal songs within minutes?
  
  Fellow is at the height of arrogance. Downfall is not too far. He actually does not know English, yet uses English words.
  
  Why does he take home the tunes to compose the songs? Everything is from the blessings of Ponnumanai. So Ponnumani should be called "Maha Kavi Perarasu"
