Hi guys,im sure its gonan release soon,posters & Trailors r out,all together 6 songs....
1.Manavane
2.Yetho Yetho
3.Misai Veitha Ambalai
4.Ding A Ling
the 5th & 6th song i cant remember much,but the songs will difenetly be a hit ...Do discuss on them,Just one request,IR fans,if u wanna discuss on the songs,ur welcome,but if u come here to bash ARR,PLz leave this Thread,ok va?

  Hey...Rahman did a very nice job in E20U18...The songs r great....It is better than Parasuram..I really like Santhipoma,Asatura,and Oru Nanban.It is really great...Even the oldies will enjoy it...Boys is more to youth...so only youth enjoyed it...but this one everyone can enjoy...It is really great....harris is a copycat of ARR....U have to admitt that.

  A.R.Rahman has become an icon in the west with UN General Secretary Kofi Annan himself confessing that he is a big fan of the maestro. Kofi Annan has chosen Rahman to be UN’s tuberculosis ambassador. He is planning a musical event on the 3rd of December in New York and Rahman has agreed to be present for the function in the midst of all his obligations!
  
  But sadly, is Rahman neglecting Tamil film music, which played an important role in making him a legend? His latest album Enakku 20 Unnakku 18 (E 20 U18) is a rehash of his earlier numbers. The album has nothing original about it as the tunes are repetitive. The main drawback of this album is that the feel of it is very similar to that of Shankar’s Boys!
  
  However die-hard Rahman fans argue that the maestro can rehash his own tunes and if the producer is the same, why not?

  I think AR has done a good a job in u20a18. The son sandeepoma and edho edho are here to say.

  E20U18 is excellent, Definitly not near arrs best, but this album is o different from any of his other albums as a whole( one song resembles boys). Ofcourse the best among the present audios available.

  I dont know why people here are criticising E20U18 songs. The songs are great. You have to keep hearing them.......
  Oru Nanban is THE BEST. Excellent lyrics backed by ARR's awsome control of the Tempo of the song.Chinmayee does a superb job in this number.

  Askava. Totally different from ARR usual style. First 38 secs have some westernized dappanguthu and then the song starts.Bharathi Kanavugal Vaazga.... resembles "Maegan Karukkailae"from Vaigasi Poranthachu.

  Asathura-You hear it the 1st time you'll say its trash... But some will feel its the best of the lot. Fast Song.... The lines Pathinaro... Pathinezho....is superebly inserted at various points of time in this song

  Santhipoma- Again... Chinamayee deserves credit. Excellent melody with beautiful use of strings. The scale / tune of the song changes at the end of the song just like in BOOM BOOM(in b b only the scale changes)..... but ends with the original tune. Rahman is a Genius and no one can do such things perfectly... Only drawback of this song is that it does not have all that impressive lyrics.....

  This song doesn't follow the conventional rules of Tamil SOngs...with 2 interludes and 2 stanzas....Many wont like it. But only Hardcore Rahman fans can appreciate.. FALL IN LOVE........FORGET THE WAR.........

  Hi folks!! Here is my review of E20U18.
  Here again ARR proves that he is capable of churning out hits as he done all along his 12 year career.He’s just going stronger and stronger.Here opinions differ as different people have different tastes.Here goes my review.
  1.SANTHIPOMA: This is one of the best songs in this album.This reminds the style of ARR in his 1992-96.A beautifully rendered song by Chinmayee,Anupama and Unni Menon.Unni Menon once again proves his class and his voice has become a lot more younger in this song.The violin pieces are beautiful.Particularly the violin and strings in the place”Coffee day Pogalam”Wow it’s beautiful.I liked this song at the first hearing itself.A sure hit.
  2.YEDHO YEDHO: This is the pick of the album.With beautiful violin backing and beautiful rendering by Karthik,this song is already a hit.But one jarring note is that it somewhat resembles “Udhaya Udhaya”from Udhaya .May be the drums pattern(Siva mani please take note)or the violin pieces may be the culprit.But this is a brilliant number from ARR,as the song expresses pain,happiness and takes the listeners somewhere.
  3.AZHAGINA AZHAGI:A good song by Bhattarjee.This is a lively song by ARR.Nowadays ARR brings more emotions in his songs.This with a good folk music ,a sort of fusionlike with a nadhaswaram which is a rare in ARR’s music nowadays –it’s a good hearing.A good song sure to go well with youngsters.
  4.ORU NANBAN: This is a song that begins well and promises to proceed but somewhat lacked the ARR punch But this is not at all a bad number and Charan and Venkat Prabhu here they do a nice job.Chinmayee as usual is best.It’s encouraging that people from IR ‘s camp(ie Venkat,Gangai Amaran in the movie “Udhaya”)are taking part in ARR songs.This is an encouraging sign –The music industry is moving in the right direction.
  5.ASATHURA:Everyone says this is a catchy song.But according to me this is one song that is below ARR’s standards.This is good in patches.This is a hit according to some sites(the star ranking).
  6.KAMA KAMA: The encouraging sign is that ARR keeps on experimenting.This song is a good one for those who don’t care about the lyrics.Because Blazee completely destroys Tamil pronounciations and is sure to topple Udit Narayan.Otherwise a brilliant song mixing tamil style music and rap.The music is brilliant.
