  Well Said yaar!!There are critics everywhere. but some criticism is healthy...But some like this arises just due to Fanaticism...lets forgive him cos this shows his music knowledge....n writing this in harini's name shows his attitude...With regard to Tipu's Voice - It is real Class!..If you want to make a comparison of voices - u can see that Tipu's voice is the BEST in the industry when it comes to young singers!!!!!
  Karthick sings good too, but the melody and that silky kind of a touch - the electric quality is there in Tipu's voice..Goahead and listen to 'Merkeyvidhaitha sooriyaney'- 'Citizen' and compare it with "Shakthi kodu" in Baba!!!.U cna see who has done justice!!!!!..Tipu gives a good feel to the song...Check it out guys!!!..Go ahead Tipu!!! All the BEST!!!!!!......U r sure to hit it BIG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  Huh !!! Bala, I wouldn't have argues about the point you made but the example that you picked to compare with Karthik's song was grossly wrong. Karthik's 'Shakthi Kodu...' was a fabulously sung number which is a much much tougher one than 'Merkke Uthitha Suriyanai...'. I agree Tipu is a good singer but he seems be branded for certain kind of fast jolly good youth numbers like 'Ennai Konjam..' 'Oh maamaa ...' kind of songs where it needs his stylish western accent. Karthik, on the other hand adapts to a folk, classical, and a western number with the same kind of ease with not much change in accent. Listen to his fast western numbers (Girlfriend, Osaaka Murraya,) - that guy sings those kind of songs in a very tamilish way but still gives a authentic western song feeling. You got to have talent for that.

  He is a NUMBER 1 SINGER ofcourse and thats why he is famous!you better NOT call him names!

  A small Correction here...Tipu has a heart of a road side singer and talent of a Top brass Professional!
