  apart from the good voice the guy has, he is down to earth person...happened to see him in an interview...Does not make much bones about his having already sung to IR and ARR....that is good to see...keep up young man...(i liked his 'KAATHE KAATHE' from kaadhal saadhi and 'OLIYILE THERIVADHU' from AZHAGKI)

  The song in the RUN movie(Vaada machaan) is fabulous.....Songs in the movie Baba too are marvelous.

  Karthik voice is very plain and simple. Actually that is postive point for him. There is no imitation of other singers and no western touch. IMO karthik and harish raghavendra are two singers who has unique and worderful voice.
  
  What is full name of KK? Is it K.Kumar from Malayalam. He seem to be singing lot of bollywood songs.

  One thing that is really nice about his voice is that it is sonorous.

  Karthik is a good singer but he is over estimated and he gets more publicity and attention more than what he deserves.I am not an anti karthick person but i see that ARR has been promoting this guy for no reason.The result was obvious in the songs of BABA.He is a stereo type singer too

  Karthik and KK are 2 different persons.
  KK's original name is Krishna Kumar Menon. He is carving a niche for himsel in Hindi films these days.
