  this thread to have a discussion of such lyrics (not necessarily by K'dhasan) which
  are aptly written for movie situations. When you write about a song, please give
  a brief description of the movie situation and also the apt lyrics so

  Songs apt for situations reminded me of Pakiaraj's movie, Antha Yezhu Naatkkal. Pakiaraj is an MD in the movie and he is requested to do a tune for a situation by Rajesh. Little does Pakiaraj know that Rajesh wants to reunite him with his lover, who is now Rajesh's wife! Music is by MSV, songs - if I'm not wrong - is by Jayachnadran. Anyone else can recollect the situation and the song?

  Another such situation is in 'vaLarntha kathai' from 'kaaththiruntha kaNkaL'.'
  
  Gemini is a doctor who comes to Savithri's home to treat her mother. Savithri sees him without his knowledge, falls in love and sings a song also. After treating the old lady, Gemini falls asleep in the chair while Savithri brings coffee for him. So he does not see Savithri at all.
  
  Gemini then leaves the village (to Savithri's agony), love-marries the city-bred, twin sister of Savithri, who is a painter (artist). City Savi dies in an accident and village Savi coincidentally takes her place.
  
  Gemini once asks Savi to paint a picture for him. Savi denies. So Gemini sings:

  These lines describe the inherent peace he has found with her after the terrible psychological scars of his childhood.

  Hero is a playboy who doesn't believe in love. Heroine believes in love after marriage (with the husband!). Circumstances force the heroine to stay in hero's house with him and his Dad. The sittuation is Krishna Jayanthi where the heroine invites all the neighborhood kids and has fun. Heroine sings about her sitaution, hero sings about his newly emerging love for the heroine, and Dad affirmss the son's feelings to be a fact.

  Everyone knows the story & the song. Hero & heroine who have never seen each other, but have developed a romantic relationship thru mail. Song comes in the background as the relationship progresses.
  nalam nalam ariya Aval is the song. Good lyrics by Agaththiyan.
  
  On a lighter vein, when I watched strawberry kaNNE viNveLi peNNE scene in Minsara Kanavu a few months back, I felt that the lyrics(!) fitted that exaggerated comedic situation very very well. Wonder how Director Rajiv Menon and Vairamuththu worked that one out!

  This one from "Avargal" was very aptly written by( I think) Kannadasan. The heroine( Sujatha ) loves Ravikumar but ends up marrying the bad Rajnikanth. Rajnikanth Sujathavai kodumaippaduthugiraar, both mentally and physically too. Sujatha finally gets divorced from her husband. Piraghu, pazhaiya kaathalanai santhikkiraar. Oru kuzhanthaiyodu ulla Sujathavukku maruvazhvu kodukka ninaikkiraar Ravikumar. Athai eppadiyaavathu keduthuvidavendum yenru kanganam kattikkollum Rajni, nallavar poala nadithu, thannai mannithu meendum yetrukkolla vendum yena yaasikkiraar.
  
  Innilaiyil Sujathavin manam thadumaaruvathai, azhagaaga inthappaadalil kaattiyullaargal:

Vijayakumar vidhivasathaal Avargal veettu driver aagiraar. Kaathalargal kalyaanathukku munbu konji-kulaaviyathai photo eduthu blackmail pannum Thengai Srinivasan. Iruvarukkum Idaiyil sikki kalangum Sujathavukkaaga intha situationukku very aptly ezhuthappatta paadal:

  I was thinking about this song yesterday. SPB romba nanRaaga paadiya paadal. In the film this song comes in different situations.
