  Your comparison is not correct. There is no song in Baba like "ORU PENPURA","VETRI NICHAYAM" and "KADHALIN DEEPAM ONDRU".
  
  Some example from Baba Songs:
  
  1. "Tipu Tipu" is like a Bangara Song. The best combination will be a "Pudhu Malara Thottu" from Poovellam Vaasam.
  
  2. Sakthi Kodu is a devotinal song with little bit of different beat of Illayaraja. There is alot of Illayaraja devotational songs. May be "Amma Endru" from Mannan.
  
  You might prefer Mannan and Poovellam Vaasam as they have been already quite famous and listened many times. But for Baba you need to listen few more and you will be hooked to it.
  
  I am not against Illayaraja. He is the one have given many hits for Rajini Sir. But for Baba songs, there is no alike songs in other Rajini movies may be other star films.

  Russel Crowe = Vikram (Willing to do different roles, charismatic, rough look a plus.)
  Kamal Haasan = a composition of Alpacino and TOmHanks. The person who most imitates alpacino is obviously Raguvaran
  Vijay,Ajith etc = TOmCruise, Ben Affleck ( all Worthless but unfortunately has good directors at hand)

Did you see Dog day Afternoon (BEST OF AL TODATE came in 1975) ? Serpico? Carlitos way? Godfather triology? Scarface? Scent of a Woman? Devil's advocate? gosh he is an eight time oscar nominee. Ben afflek didnt do anything other than crying for willis' daughter in armagadon! You scumbag talking sound more like a fob. What i did was just trying to find the best available connection betweeen hollywood and tamil field.. Being selected 3rd famous by some stupid uk magazine doesnt mean anything, you must be gay like tom cruise to claim something out of nothing like dat!   Dont claim to be an AL fan... Devils advocate is nothing to be listed in his career. You missed most of his good work.. HEAT, Doni Brasco, Looking for Richard(which he directed..cant belive u missd it) and 'And Justice for all which will beat dog day afternoon just by its last cout scene.
