Its getting pretty stale at the DF, with TOO many threads discussing the same old stuff and fighting over the same issues a bazillion times :) ...too many folks gatecrashing in a flash of inspiration and bringing in threads that take 3,4 posts...so here's a little eulogy to all those blessed faithfuls who still keep the forum going :-)) and a hope that this DF goes from strength to strength in the days to come :)

So when Steve lost his place for Mark's debut, where did Mr. Saturn go. Did he manage to occupy a small niche on Steve's side of the horoscpe sparing Mark marginally? Millions are born every month. Do all of them go through similar cycles?! Theories indeed!

hi amit,
my view of it is that.everybody does undergo these cycles. But it is not that these things are bound to happen for you.You are physically and mentally being acted upon by the planets and you are forced to take bad decision during those periods.but it ultimately depends on how you react to these changes. If you are a very disciplined person or a person of principles , nothing is gonna happen to you.but otherwise there is a great chance that you will take bad decisions during that period

I think I may have overdone the astro bit in a forum not specific for that, so I would like to cease (from my side) further posting on that subject. Curses/Magix and Prabhu, I appreciate your tolerance :) Come on, start other interesting stuff. other_side, OISG, and Heal_the_Planet, thanks for your contributions :)
As for theories, they are just that, subject to alteration as per empirical evidence (the prior-posterior set up!). I would like to proffer the following point of view though. There may be a probability distribution for each scenario and an individual's experience may be a realization from that probability distribution. No two individuals, even if they have the same scenario, can be expected to experience similar results (random!). The results, though, hold "on the average", a term that may take many more exchanges to discuss. But I will stop at this point.

other_side, Music4Ever, even though I am skeptical about these things, I have seen some really educated/scientific people dabble in these. In the ForumHub, Dr JB from Malaysia (he was the personal physician to the Malaysian Prince) thinks tamil people might have found something that westerners have not, in the context of naadi jOthidam. Even my parents have consulted naadi jothidam and I have refused to listen to the tapes, so as not to be influenced by it. But one of my high school classmates , who is almost an atheist (and she scored more than me in HSC Total) is also very impressed with naadi jothidam. Maybe you guys could start a thread in ForumHub for this.

Does anybody know, which is the first digitally recorded film album in tamil movies? Is it "Roja" or is it any other movie before it? Thanks in advance.

skumar...first ever digitally composed song in tamil credit goes to Punnagai Mannai....
Composed by Ilayaraj, and the keyboard player was AR Rahman....the year?....dunno....can anyone help on the year please..

OISG, why? Magix does not like the paadal varigal that you mentioned?
Paran, Punnagai Mannan may have been in 1987. I recall enjoying the music of PM. The music sounded very attractive then.
Kiru, other_side, OISG, may be we should take astrology to ForumHub.
Curses, you haven't yet come on line :)

Music$Ever, Can you give me the DOBs of KJY, VJ, UR, SL, KSC, UM, HH, SM, H, SJ, PS?
Recollect any other happenings when PM was released??? If you can, then we can pin down the date!
- From: Music4ever (@ 130.111.58.78)
on: Thu Jun 5 08:51:07 EDT 2003
Prabhu, I think KJY is Jan 10th born. Shankar Mahadevan is March 3rd born. Don't know others. Who are UR, SL, KSC, UM, HH, and H?
Don't recall any specific happenings around the time PM was released.

I think the music in a certain work-out sequence in PM is due to ARR. Am I correct? It sounded ARR-ish.
