YSR'S NEW PROJECT'S...

well i heard that his next flim would be with vijay n priyankachoupra staring in it
and the cd's will be out in july
and another one with prabhudeva staring in it n this will out in june i guess...
well more to come from him n i hope that he make's it big....

  Guys I was told by Yuvan's family member that Yuvan is fixed to be married to a UK girl. I want to wish Yuvan the best and I hope he will produce more and more good music.

  I heard MP songs couple of times. Out of 8, four songs are excellent, especially 'chinna chinnathAi" by Hariharan. Three songs sound pop-ish and 'chinna chinnathAi' sounds so fresh. Yuvan has adapted 'eletronica' kind of music very well in this album. He could have avoided the gAnA and dappAnguththu songs. But again, he has hit right on target and young crowd will love this album just for four songs.
  
  BTW, I happened to listen to two new songs in 'thuLLuvathO iLamai'. One is kinda pop song and another one is a hard-rock style song. I think this is the first tamil film song composed in hard-rock style. Both are very short and Ok.
  
  The music shop guy told AM is doing much better than other yuvan albums right now :)

  Now YSR is better than ARR he did a good job in: bala, mounam pesiyadha, apirl maadhaathil. spaicaly in mounam pesiyadha, he did avery good job even better than his dad in 80-90's.

  yuvan is dropped from 'parthiban kanavu'.he is been replaced by vidyasagar.
  
  yuvan was not able to give good tunes and his latest albums are flops these r the reasons given by the producer 'satyajyothi' thiyagarajan.

  Actuallly YSR declined the PK project as he had too many projects in hand. The SathyaJothi team wanted the songs earlier than originally planned and YSR could not cater to this.
  
  If you think that YSR would get dropped from a movie, after the season he has had, that is a silly notion. Everybody knows that YSR is the hottest MD in TFM currently.
  
  YSR was not droppped, YSR dropped the film.

  There is nothing such as hottest MD in the industry right now. ARR is busy in hindi and in west, while HJ is hitting with Laysa Laysa. Considering they have similar styles, KR's Album is much better than Yuvan's any three latest albums. I wont be surprised he is replaced by VS in parthiban kanavu.
  
  people are being too much jalra for YSR. Other MDs are busy outside tamil, wait til they come back.

  Just now heard alll the songs from MP (thaalam.com) ....well ,this is what i feel ..
  1.YSR is losing his induviduality ..He is trying to imitate ARR
  2. Some songs lack depth ,they are monotonous esp the song sung by karthick .YSR shouyld avoid songs
  3.WHat is striking is the entirely new sounds which we are hearing .
  4.SOngs by Hariharan and SPB (same) are very good .
  overall ,i don't feel it is the album of the yera ,though it is good .
  I would call this album BEST SOUND ENGINEERED ALBUM of the year ,rather than best composed album !!!!!!But definetly refreshing !!!But the hype is just too much in TFM !!!!!

  Why does it take so much turnaround time for Non-ARR fans to get mp3s posted?? I think ARR scores over the rest here because his fans are really into promoting his music and KV MP3s were all over the next within 2 days!
  
  LEave Thaalam alone.... I am looking for good quality and I dont want to misjudge my opinion by hearing these Real Audio files. Can someone do the needful to upload the MP3s or is it going to be the usual no response thing and waiting for another month??

  Why do you think that? I think that we should give credit to fans of YSR for not putting up the mp3s as soon as the CDs are out. They are promoting sales. Though some say its insignificant, there has been quite a lot of piracy due to internet in the music seen. At least, by not posting for a month or so, the original CDs get sold. I think YSR himself would prefer to have it done that way. As far as ARR is concerned, people are willing to buy his CDs because it is like a brand for them and his market reach is greater. YSR hasn't reached that level.

  Heard MP thru Thaalam.com. Though I think it'd be hasty of me to decide the music based on real audio files, I wasnt very impressed with MP songs. Bala was better in my opinion. But as I said, I'd sure want to listen to the mp3s (I dont think I'd buy the CD/tape after what I heard in the real audio files) to make a better judgement.
  
  And yes, as someone else had mentioned above, YSR does seem to imitate ARR, with pathetic results. At least in MP.

  To say that YSR is sounding Monotonous is absurd. When ARR was rehashing his songs again and again, you were all perfectly happy to listen to it. MP is tha no.1 selling album in TN now so that puts a dampner on what you are trying to say.
  Face the facts guys, ARR is on his way down and YSR is the one to take his place. Be happy that there is another MD in TFM who can equal if not better ARR.
  To say that Album is better than any of YSR's three releases is utter nonsense as well. KR just repeats his old and only tunes with slight variations. AM,Bala, and MP are the best albums released this Deepavali and MP is the best album this year. To say that Laysa Laysa is a good album shows your musical knowledge. HJ copies ARR poorly but you are all willing to accept that as well.
  All in all, I can only conclude that you all have some personal vendetta against YSR and do not want him to come up.

  Not onebut many...But they have been sited many times in the forum.
  
  The latest which my 8 year old cousin could identify is the starting point of "Ulaga azagiye " song. Good lift from "kala kala vena" of Rythm.
  
  Then we have "Lesa lesa". The pallavi from "nirbal ko shakthi do, bhakthi do" part from "Oh palan hare" song - lagaan. The charanam is lifted from "Then kizhakku cheemaiyile" song.
  
  Okay leave that..this is getting a frequent pattern. So no point in blaming HJ. He is only upto that level.

  I have read in many rating lists that MP is no.1 selling album, also from my friend who own audio shops, MP is selling best followed by Bala, then Run and April Maathathil.
  MP is definately a great album, but maybe not everybody's cup of tea, however I have faith that after a few listens and people giving YSR a chance, people will start to understand how lucky we have such a good MD in YSR to take over the ARR rajjiyam.
