AR Rahman's Tamil Blockbuster "BOYS"

Rahman's much anticipated "Boys" is set to release soon and everyone is keen on finding out more about this album. Who are the singers? What are the soundtracks like? When is the release date? Will the album be delayed? If anyone has any idea; please post here....

Here is what i found::

Typical of Shankar, the director is not prepared to say much about the film at this point. However, it is known that the film will be very youthful, almost teeny-bop, in content, with the majority of the cast being in the 16-23 age group.

Shankar, apparently, has decided to cast all new faces in his film – and the younger the better.

In fact, a mention in various Tamil periodicals, and an accompanying advertisement to the effect that Shankar was looking for new faces, has created a headache of sorts for the producers. Curriculums vitae have been pouring in to the Surya Movies post box ever since the ad and the story ran in the vernacular press – and last heard from, the flood shows no signs of abating.

Curiously enough, the ad appears – thanks to emails and discussion groups – to have reached an audience abroad as well, with the result that newer batches of applications have US, British and suchlike stamps on them, which suits the producer and director fine since the film does incorporate a lot of NRI faces.

For Shankar, Boys will be a return to romance after Kadhalan, and to comedy after the Aishwarya Rai-Prashanth starrer Jeans. Though the film will feature fresh – and ergo, inexpensive – faces, Shankar maintains that the film will be typical of his style, which means lavish budgets, and expensive production values.

  Ive always thought u were dumb.uve name a whole wat 5 people in a country of how many?ur basing ur point on a very small sample.
  
  ur posts are soooo repetitive....cinema u lusu will go above the usual.look at any movie on society.are you so dumb to realize that its entertainment at heart?ive said that millions of times.i find it funny how ur only point is the running naked thru the streets point and the pros scene.and i bet u that pros scene happens more often then u wanna make it seem.

  Boys is a stupid movie, see nobody is going to run naked to prove their love and if they did the girl might walk off ... you know what it means :)
  you think that pros scene might tempt some one to do it actually, if thats your prob then i guess lots of teens aren't that bold. i meant the guys in chennai.

  This is the truth. This is a daily ritual unless you suffer from constipation or kidney failure. Perhaps Shankar would show something in Anniyan. He aptly portrayed the struggles of Bob Galy to "clean up", lets see if he takes reality a step further.

  The same way if you know a few incidents like this or any personal experiences, it doesn't mean that is the reailty and it can be generalised. We have our own way of living too.

  Entertainment needn't be cheap. Let things be above the usual as long as there is no wrong picture portrayed. Even the "Right to Speak" insists that one makes a point without insulting or degrading the others. Perhaps you would welcome the usage of obscene words in cinema. More people use obscene words than those who bring home a prostitute. That is no justification for it to be used in an entertainment media. The thing needs to be clean. BOYS was bad in this aspect too. Sickening language.

  Do people do that to you? Please do not crap! You are saying that every teenager is like the one shown in BOYS. Stop arguing for the sake of arguing and put some sensible points in. Nobody is going to conclude seeing who has posted last in an arguement. It is what you say that matters. Put some sense in. This is precisely what Ferrari meant when asked you to think before you type. Please do not get back to ur views about the functions of human brain as to which action happens first. We are saying this because yours doesn't seem to be functioning properly. No use knowing about how something happens, whether it happens is all that matters.

  So did you do all that was done in BOYS? I can figure out the answer from what u've been saying all along. I never knew excessive sex causes mental retardation. There, you see a reason why it should be cut down.
  Showing these interests on the screen is where Ferrari drew a parallel to the bathroom scene. Ofcourse the former is definitely far more uncommon than the latter.

  did i say ALL aspects of BOYS are done?I said at that age boys have those feelings etc. Yes when im with my guy friends if we see a nice looking ponnu we talk abt her...after she walks by.hmmm what else have they done...oh yes went out with ponnugals...how horrible...they drank....yeh no one does that...oh my had pick up lines also!heaven forbid.

  How dumb can a person atually get? Piratheepan is perhaps the upper bound. The second derivative of Piratheepan's dumbness is for sure less that zero, if you know what I mean.

  Do you get a simple point, you infant? Why does an arguement arise? When you say something is right and I say that it is wrong. This is when it starts off. In such a case a retort on the lines of "Who are you to say what is right" is the stupidest thing one can think of and you though of it, you know why.
  
  The Bob Galy comedy. That's what you call comedy? That's how one makes people laugh? Showing one's butt to bring some laughter is the cheapest of ways one can think of.
  
  I only thought you cannot organize your points and that you type before your brain starts is work (is it ever functional btw?). But then I have spotted you inability to even identify the ones with a clear message. Your wavelength of thinking is hard to attain.
  
  Mature enough to handle adult langauge? What the hell are you crapping. Oh yeah, it is nothing new actually. What is the need of such words? If you do not know, please get to know more about Tamil. It is a winderful language with a variety of expressions that doesn't need the help of some foul language. Kids watch the movie too, btw.
  
  I shall worry about who is doing the replying. I am more than enough to handle some baseless arguement. The only reason I moved into this was I could see your "sensible" replies to Ferrari's arguements. Ferrari talking or me talking doesn't make any difference when it is supposed to penetrate a thick skull filled with vaccum. Please do not worry about that.

  He is not understanding a simple fact. That I am trying to repeat time and again. No one denied or said that in India such things dont happen. It happens. But not like the way it is projected in the movie....
