  I don't want to prove anything (Infact, I don't need to ! By any standards, YSR is more successful than VidyaSagar in today's TFM),
  
  I just wanted to know if people see the inspiration / copy / whatever in that song - But nobody seem to respond, So my observation may be wrong ... thats all, NOM to VidyaSagar !

  vidyasagar is much proven than ysr or karthik....even karthik did in the movie dum dum dum...couple songs are same as his father did in a mallu movie released in 1997...illayaraja was great...i don't think ysr is greater than vidya though..he might be good

  my intention is NOT starting a YSR Vs Vidyasagar thread,
  
  I just said that part of the song is similar to some other song, it is MsK who raised the query if I want to prove that YSR is great - then only I talked about who is more successful in TFM Today,

  YSR is a newbie... with some like-father_like-son fans he had sold some casettes but yet very few movies..
  Vidy on the other hand is a veteran underated yet succesful.... from chenkottai,karna to poovellam unvaasam, run his songs are the one coming from the channels i see...

  I can't believe "kaadhal pisaasu" is by sujatha! (Sorry Kum_Laden, I could resist posting!)... Are we sure it is the same sujatha? I'd like to believe otherwise! Why, in god's name, would sujatha pronounce the way she did? If they wanted the so-called modern feel, VS could have made Vasundhara Das (or someone like that) sing that song.
  
  And IMHO, she didn't sound like AB...that's kind of insulting AB's voice modulation capabilities.

  the problem with vidyasagar is he only works hard for good directors in tamil....he produced superb songs in subash,karna,arasiyal,uyirodu uyirgga,priyam, nilavee vaa ....i think these movies were flops or some of them not released yet...and its so shame tht he didn't won an award in tamil for these songs....like karthik won for dum dum dum....but in mallu he is just simply great...the first movie he produced he won state award...he is won abt 7 awards so far...
  
  he said tht he likes kerala people appreciated him and his songs....so he said he has to do his best work for these people...i think he makes okkay songs for other directors in tamil...in 2001 ...only snehithey was good because it was by priyadarshan..his audios are the best selling in kerala

  Vidyasagar, the current numero-uno in malluwood and the one in the making in kollywood returned to his home land tollywood after a long gap with "Neetho". He started off his career in telugu with the film Dharma Teja and later went on composing some good albums like Rukmini, Teneteega, Sarpayaagam, Mugguru Monagaallu, Balaram, Suri.
  
  Unfortunately, tollywood ignored him by and large till now.
  
  Vidyasagar's songs are usually a colorful mixture of traditional acoustic and ultramodern beats. Veena and flute are his forte. He tries to keep the rhythm intact through out the song. He could become one in his home state if this album is promoted well enough

  Vidyasagar is a telugu. He was born in Kakinada, AP(I hope I'm right because I'm relying on memory), and later, I believe, he moved to Madras..(this info I obtained from one of my relatives who knows VS very well). By the time he started to compose music in Tamil, he had already done more than 50 films in telugu. Many of his good songs went unnoticed, though.
  
  I am subject to any correction in the above-mentioned information about VS.

  ANyway guys.. that Kathal vanthathun telungu version in the 'neetho' movie.. about it: The original song is so sweet melody. never tired of hearing .. the telungu version is sung by the junior Jesudas..wow.. that fulte music...Vidyasagar is the melody king..

  vidyasagar is son of a old tamil music director..i don't who he is ....he started to score music in tamil in 1989 ...the first movie floped...then another one floped...then he got a telugu and the movie was super hit...and he become famous...he scored abt 65 movies or above in telugu....then he realized tht its a dead end...he want to get more noticed...in 1996 he got a chance to perform in malayalam under a brillant director kamal...and he did his part and now he is the best in mallu...and he is busy in tamil too ....his 25th malayalam album has released and 2 will be coming on mid august...he is busy in tamil..run just released ..karmegham,k.balachandar movie, anbe sivam, weldon[avm], and a movie produced by who tht produced minnale starring arjun...they assign harris jayaraj ..then there was an argument between the dir and harris and they bring vidyasagar to tune the songs

"Minsaram en meethu" what the heck the dude tryna say at the end... you know, those screaming the head off part.. is it'kaathalichiyeyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy', or 'kaathal teeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeears', or is it 'kaathal theeeeeeeeeeeeeye"... whatever it is.. its so damn annoying
