For the sake of your pleasure I am encoding this particular track alone (#6) AS A VERY HIGH QUALITY AUDIO FILE, which DOES NOT NEED G2.
Everyone can enjoy!!!!!!!!!!

As usual in my encodings, there would not be any deficiency in BASS content.......However the clause HIGH QUALITY AUDIO FILE is comparative and is of high quality if you consider that these are BGMs and not songs.

Rex,
Ungalukku Kodi Nanri. For having brought to light background music scores Of Ilaiyaraaja to everyone.
I have been following BGMS of IR for a long time now. The Nayagan "Love at first sight" piece reinforces my belief ; That Raaja is absolutely mind-blowing when he composes those haunting pieces on the guitar. Absolutely out of the world when he changes those scales.
I have a sincere request. I have watched the movie "Shiva" (Starring Nagarjuna and Amala; released as "Udhayam" in Tamil) in Hindi. At the end of the Hindi version, there is a huge BGM piece (Perhaps about 3-5 mins) by Raaja. Also starting off with the guitar and then blowing up into a full fledged Orchestral score. This was hugely edited in the video version. I heard it only once in the theatres. I can say one thing. Even hindi audiences who had no inkling who Ilaiyaraaja was (and who usually get out of the theatre in the last scene) waited till all the credits were done. And I sincerely believe this was in no small measure due to the BGM piece. Incidentally Uttam singh was involved in arrangements. The bass content in the piece is very important if I may mention that.
If by any chance, you could bring that entire piece to focus in your page, it would hugely make die-hard fans like me go gaga while at the same time would win new fans.

KSS:
My biggest handicap is that I was in an American Village called Gainesville in Florida......absolutely no tamil movies, video cassettes, etc.....Now coming down to Atlanta, the situation has eased a bit, but not that different....These BGMs were recorded by my niece and my elder sister under my supervision in India, when I went for my vacation. I am compelled to rely on such sources in the near future for the BGMs.....Maybe if I am in California, things would have been much much different.
Thanks for your compliments and I will try my best to bring as many BGMs as possible out to the internet......
Initially the BGMs came to me from two great sources: Sree from Canada and MSK of San Diego.....IF fans can send me some recorded versions like that, I assure you that I will spend my time and try to bring out very good quality RA files to my site.

Rex,
"My Dear Kuttichaathaan" was the one of the two LP records from echo records which carried BGM of a movie. The other record is Ninaivellaam Nithya. The LP record carried the BGM's of "Tik Tik Tik", and title music of "Ullaasa Paravaigal".

The uploads for MY DEAR KUTTICHAATHAN would commence shortly.......The Dial-up ISP is posing great problems over here......So I am trying my best to push the files from my home to the servers......When that is done, you guys will be able to enjoy almost the entire track of MY DEAR KUTTICHAATHAN.
Enjoy

UPLOADS UPDATE!!
You should now be able to listen to 5 BGM sequences from MY DEAR KUTTICHAATHAN. Don't be surprised by the inferior quality for the first 4 sequences, as the cassette that I have has got severely demagnetized. I tried my best to give some sheen and hopefully it is not that bad.
The ISP is kind of very very slow over here. So further uploads (about 5- 6 more sequences) would commence as and when the traffic is low.
Enjoy!!!

Vijay & MS:
Thanks guys!! Hope you liked the other ones too.
Any comments about the song from ARANGETRA VELAI.It is a very rare number but am not sure whether it was a HIT. The wonderful thing about the song is that it changes from a very very slow mood to that of a faster one, subtly, but very interestingly......I would like to know whether you liked that one too.
Balaji:
Hope you are enjoying yourself at Madras. Enjoy your vacation. When are you planning to leave Madras??? Just curious.

Dear webmasters,
can someone confirm whether XOOM allows its hosts to run CGI scripts on their free domains(directories)? If YES is the answer , then how can i get a CGI-BIN directory for my free page (i mean, what is the procedure?). I know that webjump creates a spot to have your own CGI scripts when you hook yourself up with them. But webjump did have a problem with the max file size and i could not get my .ra files FTPed out successfully onto their server. Got to switch to XOOM!

Meera:'
Thanks a ton in return for your compliments. BGM scores -- particularly RAAJA PAARVAI was recorded in a cassette and was flown to me for encoding by a Raaja fan by name MSK in San Diego. BGMs like GUNAA (to be uploaded), IDAYAM were flown to me by another Raaja Fan, Shree of Concordia University.
Rest of the BGMs were either recorded by me, or my sister and niece in Coimbatore. I am trying my best to get some more BGMs from other fans in the US and by asking my niece in Coimbatore to do the recording for me. So you can expect more in the coming days.
Well, "Ilamai Enuum Poongaatru" from PAGALIL ORU IRAVU......Very many fans have asked me to put this song to my site....The reason why I was bit reluctant to include this number to my site was due to the fact that it is not a RARE number....It is one of those unique numbers that symbolizes Raaja.
But due to popular demand and continuing queries like why I have not included that number to my site, I am compelled to include that to my site within the next 36 hours.
Check out my site and continue to share your feedback. That is the only way, my site....I mean YOUR site can grow.
Greetings,
Rex

That is right!!! My favorite is also Track # 6 of MY DEAR KUTTICHAATHAN. That is why, I had uploaded that as a 32 KBPS file to my site for a day...... It is just awesome.
Coming to the "Kooval" type of thing.......I think Raaja basically did that for the movie sequence.....Also it was a children's movie....So....
But the BGM sequence when heard by recollecting those scenes can be appreciated more in its totality.
