  when carefully listening to Vairamuthus songs
  it can be realise that he has repeated some words
  very often. Few egs
  
  ABC nee vasi song(oru kaidhiyin dairy)has a line
  like
  
  Aaha aanandham
  poovukkul bookambam
  
  (this is a happy kaadhal song)
  
  Kannil enne kaargalam(un kannil neer vazhindhal)
  song also has a similar line
  
  poovukkul bookambam
  endrum varum aanandham
  
  This is supposed to be a soga song. But rendu
  contextleyum he uses the word poovukkul
  bookambam . What he implies by this is aandavanukku dhan velicham.

  Ramki - I think your idea is very good. Except for one thing, one would have to pay great attention to the lyrics of all the songs. Inthe kaalathuleh yaaru avvalavu unnippa paateh kekuraanga?

  Of late there has been a proliferation of words like 'desiya geedham' and 'desiyak kodi' in many songs. I'm not sure they are penned byt Vairamuthu. Hope this has something to do with India's 50th independance anniversary.

  I am also wondered many times tat vairamuthu repeating the words like the naal kanakku,manikanakku,nimishakanakku..the few examples are here

  guys give these poets a break.. they are writing for films.. and how many words do they have after all to juggle with..actually in this commotion if they give some 10 songs which are good I think they have made their mark and mr vm has definitely done much more than that.... nobody is going to give them nobel prize for this like neruda or tagore.. it is their living.. so they beter churn out fast poems.. and so repetition bound to occue..afterall they themslevs cant keep track of it..

  when he writes lyrics for movie he is a ordinary
  worker. his imagination is restricted by the situation. But when he writes "kavithaigal"..he is
  a owner..he writes as he like. But i don't think there, he is repeating the words. ex. read his work.." thanner thesam" "kallikattu ithigasam"
  they r awesome. world class quality. bloody stop
  criticising the great poet. i haven't read much about "barathy's" work. he is great one. But his words i'm not able understand. but i can understand 'ezhiya' nadai of kaviyarsu. of course i'm not comparing these two. vairamuthu is one of

  Suppose if you want to see outside form your house your very first option to see will be your jannal.Kaathu(WIND) jannal valiya thaan varum(santhana teNral varathu jannal valiyaa varaama ootu valiyaava varum?). Yaaravathu road la nadanthu poona ootta pericha paapeenga. Illa close panni irukara kathava thernatha paapeenga? illa oru figure poona jannala thaana paakareenga.(athaan vairamuthum jannala paakaraaru). Meaning fulla paatu ezhuthunaalea ippadi na???? Stop commenting him first. Read his kavithai books like " Sigarangalai Nooki" and "Sirpiyea unnai sethukukirean" .....

  If u want to appreciate some of VM's original kavithai, read his books like inda pookal virpanaikalla. If u want to get his tamil flair, read "Vill odu vaa nilave" VM is the undisputed king. Irundalum sila nerangalil, he runs out of ideas, as remarked by our friend, after all scope is limited in tamil cinema, and he gets into listing mode, Like the aasai song in Roja, Ayagu song, Vendum song in Thiruda Thriruda etc
