Silly Lyrics,Great Songs

In recent weeks, we had detailed and scolarly discussions and analysis of TFM lyrics. This thread, however, is for listing and discussing some of the silly lyrics written by great writers, put to music by great MD-s and sung by great singers. Most of these songs are from funny movies or from funny scenes in great movies. The lyrics in these songs are silly, but well written, rhyming, musical, etc.

In order to avoid comparisons, I wold request you not to mention the names of writers, MD-s and singers. Just name the song, the movie and include any comments or discussion about the song.
With all the tension going on in some of the other threads, let us make this a "fun" experience! (Ravi: I hope this is within the established limits of the TFM Forum. If not, cancel it. Thanks.)

  I recall the song 'chandirarE vArum sundariyai pArum' from some film starring Prabhu and Kasthuri. Gangai Amaran said in an interview that when the tune was being composed they used some 'dummy lyrics' for orchestration purposes. And during the final recording they simply forgot to write new lyrics.

  Here is the timeless classic lyric that was used in every Indian movie language because it has no meaning: Jaaliloa Jimkaana Goaliloa Gumkaanaa. The old studios had a writer who specialized in these songs in the 50s.

  some of the silliest lyrics i ever heard was in "raja rajadhi rajan indha raja" in agninatshatiram.one cannot realise it as the music is so riveting that the lyrics are easily forgotten.

  "Sorgamei endraalum.." has taken a few hits on this as well as other threads . When I saw the movie on video and heard this song for the first time, it made me feel proud, nostalgic and very patriotic! The lyrics and the situations were probably silly, but it still felt good.   Mano, IMHO, i feel teh lyrics of the song Sorgamae endralum is sung by a graamathaal and he can sing only about maadu meikrathu, kannu kutti, vethila thuppa idam and athangari etc..

  3. Songs from 'Sa Ri Ga Ma Pa Tha Nee' (Parthiban Starrer). In fact quite a good number of songs from Parthiban Movies, and also a lot of Pandiarajan movies.
