I'M LOOKING FOR BOMBAY,THIRUDA THIRUDA, KANNATHIL MUTHAMMITTAL ... BGM'S,

  In the movie those stupid BGM sounds like "B to the A to the B to the A to the" some crap noise that plays while Rajini fighting is annoying to ears. ARR proved that he is such a tasteless guy with this kind of BGM. One of the worst BGM for a fighting scene i have ever heard.

  One of the best BGMs I say recently in TV is of Lagaan. The place where gowri comes and the flute plays to express her jealous. Wow what an effect.

  Ya..KM also has fine BM. Especially the scene whe the clid gets lost for the first time and they find her in the railway station. The scene before and after that has some wonderful BGM, which doesn't overshadow the dialogs.

  Just finished watching Parthale Paravasam on TV. Great BGM by ARR. Good change from jarring and loud music that usually passes off for BGM.

  You have to watch Fire. ARR's bgm is exhilerating. btw, I have all the Fire BGMs if anyone is interested. It might be available in the ARR ftp as well, but I'm not sure. Of course, in movies like Earth, all the songs were used as BGM...another excellent work by ARR. In AP, Endrendrum Punnagai was used only as BGM but due to popular demand, they were forced to release it with the audio later.

  Sounds like you expanded BGM in the wrong way. Or you must have become deaf listening to same old BGMs repeatedly in movies.

  you dont have to be so nasty on this!!!
  If you can, just go have a look at Ayutha Ezuthu.There is a sequence where Madhavan meets Bharathi raja after killing his own brother. He has a gun in his hand and Bharathi raja is surprised to see him alive. Now when they see each other, there is a menacing "BGM". Just listen to it closely. it is really good one.There are lots of good scores in "Indian" and "Andhi mandhaarai" too. You should not be so opinionated to reject him entirely.
