Vijay's GILLI

Vijay's GILLI is the remake of the Telugu smash Hit OKKADU, which had Mahesh Babu and Bhoomika. The Tamil film is produced by A M Ratnam and directed by Dharani. But who is the Music Director. Is it Vidhyasagar, because the directer is Dharani or is it Mani Sharma, because he composed the Telugu original. Will it have the same tunes from Telugu, because they were super hits??

  Gilli Dandu is a famous game for local poor folks. I have played it when I was young.
  
  There will be two wooden pieces with 1:4 proprotion. The bigger one is Dandu and smaller one is Gilli.
  
  Gilli will be sharpened in both the edges like pencil. When Dandu,if somebody hits the any end of gilli, it will fly above the ground. While on air, they will hit Gilli with Dandu. With Dandu, the player has to defend the play hole, just like cricket player defending stumps. Some body will be throwing Gilli like a bowler(even though not with great force). There are rules of catches also.

  This film is on the lines of I Love You Da/Priyamaana Thozhi
  
  Vijay is a professional Gilli player and the best one around. He tries to make it to the Indian Olympic team. But as usual, there are politicians who stand in his way because there are others waiting to give 10 Lakhs for that place in the team. But Vijay is very poor(if he's rich, padam ingaye mudinjudum!) and can't afford all this stuff. So he goes to the politicans house and breaks the window glass with his Gilli. He is thus arrested under POTA act. Inside the jail, he practises his Gilli-Danda and develops his skills immensely. After he is released, he doesnt know what to do. He goes to another state and buys a lottery ticket(banned in TN!). Gets 10 lakhs!! Goes and gives it to the politician and represents India. Guest Appearnce by Indian thaatha. Lanjam vaangarthum thappu, kodukkarthum thappu. So he kills both of them, goes to an airport, makes a plane expolde, jumps away from the plane and lands in London!

  Gilli and pambaram have played crucial parts in tamil cinema. Remember the movie ulle veliye was based on gilli only. And in chinna kounder vijayakanth and sunkanya will put pambaram in each others bellies.
  
  Gilli wont be that sharp as pambaram.So, the heroines wont put case and all. Avangalukku koochama irukkum.
