New Page for Rare Hits of Ilayaraaja

I have put up a new webpage with rare hits collection of Maestro Ilayaraaja. I will try to put those songs that are either not commonly found nor available in other TFM pages. Please visit:

  Thank you very much.
  (Roaming all recording centres in Bangalore for Voice of IR has finally paid off!!!)
  I get all the Kannada cassettes from Bangalore itself. The Malayalam ones, I get when I go to my native place Cochin. Every time I go, I trouble my cousins, and get them to buy/record the Malayalam ones.
  I have bought very less Cd/Cassettes in US. There are no 'SouthIndian' audio shops in Philadelphia area. So whenever I go to NJ or any other place for a weekend, I try to buy some Cds.
  
  'Kumbakonam Gopalu' songs are good and so is the 'Mayilaadum Thoppil' song.
  
  I was thinking 'Ezha Paazha' is from Desiya Geetham. I heard its sample from some other internet site. Now I got to hear the full song (with amazing clarity).
  
  'Naan irukkum andha Naal varaikkum' from Azhakiya Kannaey is very good. Raadhaa Azhaikkiraal is a long lost song for me. I heard this song very long back in a cassette "Musical Medly 88". I remember its tune, but could not remember its lyrics. Its what I call "Fundu Song".
  
  And, I will be uploading some very rare Voice_Of_Ilaiyaraaja(I KNOW nobody would have heard them) in a few hours from now. (What do to... Raaja fans have no sleep on weekends!!!)

  The poor recording quality is regretted.
  All these have been recorded from the TV. When ever a song comes in a film, I run and get my tape recorder. Alas!! my TV doesn't have a line-out to connect diretly to the tape recorder. So I have to place the recorder in front of the TV and request my parents and sister to remain silent, etc... My parents don't listen to Tamil songs, but they were very co-oerative when it comes to my fanaticism of Ilaiyaraaja, and these recording sessions.
  If anyone has any of these cassettes, I request you to send me the cassette so that I can record it and put it on the web. I will record, encode, upload and return it within 48hrs.

  "Raasathi Manasiley " from Raasavey unnai nambi is already available at my site.
  I have "Aadipattam thedi chendraal" tape with me. I can upload it if you want. No point duplicating efforts.

  "Naan thedum sevvanthi" and "Kattu vazhi pora una kavala padathey" are both sung by Ilaiyaraaja. So _THEY_ARE_ available at my site!!! Infact for all songs(almost) sung by Ilaiyaraaja, you can visit my site.

  Do you have "Sangathil Paadadha Kavidhai Ival Angathil Yaar Thandhadhu", sung by IR and SJ, another VK film, Auto Raaja (very old), song (hey, I am not any VK fan, it just happened to be both VK ones). This song is based on "Thumbi Vaa Thumba Kudhathil", Mallu song by SJ, film Olangal, this is there in your site. I have been searching for this particular song (Sangathil) for a quite long time. Rex says he doesn't have it :-( Can you try this one?
