I have few movies mentioned in other threads on YSR but where are the audio's? Have they been released? Such as for Nandha or manathai thirudivitay or Telugu movie? It has been a while since I heard YSR songs

I read in a magazine that Yuvan's girlfriend is singing in the movie Enna Solla Pogirai, Junior Senior and also sang in the chorus for the movie Nanda. It will be nice to hear how she sounds in singing.
When I find the article again I will post the link for it.

I just checked out the mp3 files. Thanks MPR. Yes the mix sounds really good. Somebody told the recording is not good and I was wondering how come YSR who gives importance to recording quality messed up this time. He did not. It sounds fantastic. Like ARR's. the recording enhances the musical pleasure.
It is not just recording, it is the mixing which makes a difference. The instruments are recorded upclose/upfront and the vocals have very high reverb and so stand out and from behind the instruments. (this is a style preferred by ARR as well and not surprisingly the opposite of IR's - voice upfront and instruments behind it)
Musically, Madhav, who is a great fan of YSR here, may not be misplaced in his enthusiasm for YSR. Every album is a improvement over the previous and very different from it. Still, I think IR is far ahead of anybody in TFM/IFM. Here is an example - while checking out this mp3, I also downloaded an IR song, nAdham en jeevanE song from the same site. Compare this with azhagan sooriyan. Forget about how great a tune the IR song is - look at the various instruments in the song. In the YSR song, you hear a drone/modern tampura like sound in the background all the time, which gives a sense of body to the song (technique used by many, including ARR). Now listen to the IR song, this one has a bass guitar line backing up the melody. This is a 'better' form of harmony. Even though YSR sounds modern he is actually following a 'primitive/simple' harmony techniques compared to IR. Going by color color song, I think, YSR will slowly move to the paradigm set by IR after stealing fans from ARR. I think this is his game plan. He is a talent to watch.

kiru: The charam parts are especially good in 'Allday Jollyday'. The instruments are crisp and smooth. Even 'sadugudu' has done very well. You didn't like the songs in the beginning, how do you feel about them now after listened to MP3s? To me, four songs are very good with two ok numbers.

MPR, after listening to the MP3 I think I have a better impression of this album. Actually, In fugure, I will not write anything about YSR's album until after listening to an MP3 or CD.
Allday Holiday is a very very peppy number. YSR's songs, IMHO, have better flow of tunes than ARR's. And this song is a very good example. It is really a fun song. I only wish I were younger to enjoy that song :)

Tharsha, I too read the article but it also mentioned that Yuvans girlfriend sang the song Alagana Sooriyan in Manathai Thirudivitay. There was a typo on the tape sleeve so the singer is stated as Sujata instead of Sujaya.

YSR gossip in Junior Vikatan. Seems YSR borrowed Rs 5 lakhs from someone and is unable to repay it. But the guy who loaned the money seems to have connections to dadas with political contacts. So he has conplained to one of them and YSR was summoned before the dada. Seems the dada asked (forced) YSR to sign on a pronote for an amount of Rs 10 lakhs! Karthikraja heard about this and is discussing it with YSR now, it seems!

Yes, that sure makes sense. I was wondering the same too - YSR is supposedly one of the fastest growing composers in tfm and 10/5 lakhs shouldnt be a problem at all. Gangai Amaran makes sense. Sorry, my fault - wrong interpretation.

OVERALL COMMENTS:
The ultimate youth anthem album. The young will love this album. The older will hate it. As for me, I think some of the songs are some of the best this year. Yuvan Shankar Raja has really proved himself with youth songs this year with this album and "Dheena." Maybe in a future album, he will prove himself with heavier stuff, too.
SONG-BY-SONG REVIEW:
Ithu Kaadhalaa? -- Starting with one of the best songs on the album. It's all about a young man's first love, and his singing of it. Yuvan Shankar Raja himself does the singing, proving not only is he musically talented, but like Papa, also has the voice. Very young very cool music. If this song had been written for a "bigger" film, it would've been an instant hit. Excellent!
Theenda Theenda (Duet) -- A very Carnatic song for a, I'll just say it, sex song. Yes, it is a song about lovemaking. But are the lyrics raunchy? Nah, this isn't a Prasanth movie. The lyrics are actually quite nice and restrained. New lyricist Vijay has a future, I'd say. Unnikrishnan and Bombay Jayashree both do capable jobs with the singing. The music, as said, is very Carnatic, but still very melodious. Very nice!
Kannmunnae -- And boom. Here comes the best song of the album. An ultimate youth song, all about guys sitting around and sight-adikking girls. Also with a hilarious but oddly striking chorus ("dhaavini paarthaen, meesai vanthathu"). Again, YSR himself does the singing, and he's good. Instant hit. Excellent!
Vayathu Vaa Vaa -- A low-key love song when compared to the other songs on the album. Two people notice they are falling in love. Melodious music. The usual but still nice lyrics. Not the best song on the album, but still a pretty good one. Nice!
Neruppu Koothadikkuthu -- A song that would have direct influence down the line. Harris Jayaraj's "Padak Padak Pattaam Poochi" from Majnu would remind me of this song in the future. At first glance, a silly stupid little folk ditty. But listen closely, folks. This song, believe it or not, is a sad song. It's about getting on with your life when you've been knocked down. Venkat Prabhu does a great job with the singing, and Chitra Sivaraman is nice, too. Listen to the lyrics. Favorite lines: "Thoonbam intha thoonbam / Ithu manithanoda piranthathu / Unn kaiyil raegai pola / Aliyaamal kooda varuvathu." So I'm not a folk songs fan, but the intent of this song made me a fan. Excellent!
Theenda Theenda (Female) -- For an inexplicable reason, "Theenda Theenda" is heard again, almost exactly the same (only pronouns changed in the lyrics) but sung entirely by Bombay Jayashree instead of by both her and Unnikrishnan. The song was very nice, the first time around. But not good enough for twice-on-the-album placement. Gets repetitive. Nice!
Kaatrukku Kaatrukku -- The only song on the album that has inadequate singing. Harish and Harini both sound strained on some of the high notes. But musically? Wonderful. YSR plays with music easily, and in this song, combines three completely different instrumentals into one spot. How're the lyrics? A little dumb -- maybe the dumbest on the album. But it's another youth song. A friendship song. Lyrics don't need to be at their best. Great music, okay lyrics, and okay singing. And very addictive tune. Very Nice!
