Ajay Devgan and Vivek Oberoi can’t stop raving about the songs of Mani Ratnam’s Yuva. “A.R. Rahman and Mani Sir and dynamite together,” says Vivek on the sets of Indra Kumar and Ashok Thakeria’s Masti, and adds, “The six songs Rahman has recorded for the film are mind-blowing.”

Ajay Devgan, his co-star in Yuva and Masti, uses the same words to describe them. Incidentally, when the film was launched earlier this year, Mani Ratnam had decided not to have a single song in it.

Vivek also feels that Abhishek Bachchan’s is the best role and best performance in the film. “That guy’s career will take off in a big way after Yuva,” predicts Vivek.

  AE - Songs are not upto the level. Copy of a Srilankan songs and some reused tunes. ARR at present is lack of stock. He needs to listen musics of the latest western albums. So that he can copy a better song than this AE. Better luck next time. But I am tired of using this word from Tenali. I wished him upto Kangalaal Kaithu Sei. Still I am wishing to get some execellent songs like Roja, Uriyae and Muthalvan. Nothing new in this album.

  i think admin itself posts some messages like this to keep us interested in the forum...cos there is a clear pattern in such anti-ARR posts..... god knows....everything seems fixed and pre-planned nowadays........

  yaa the news bit is very much true........when ppl. think ARR is losing out to HJ,YSR,VS in the past 2 yrs, the story on the sales side is totally different...... his hit album sells more than the best sales of all the MD's combined.....   In AE, Trisha and Sidd are supposed to be the young couple.
  Surya and Madhavan serious characters with surya having a social value, madhavan being a ruffian.
  But at same time the two most sensual songs
  (sandai kozhi and nenjamellam) have been picturised for Madhavan-Meera and Surya-Esha.
