  Vijay is not that good. Needs much improvement. I have not been impressed till now from his songs. Even in Kadhal Kondean, he spoils what could have been a great song!

  Vijay Yesudas is in beginning stages and he definitely has good future career in singing.However, his genius father KJY started in a high order of musical excellence even in his teens and early twentys on his own without anybody's backing.Vijay's delivery of songs at the start of his career now in no way can be compared to the quality which his father maintained in his starting days.Vijay needs to take the blessings of his father and learn from him the ways to build up the extra ordinary qualities which elevated his father KJY as the great musical genius and what he is today.

  Vijay is still developing, what exactly is your background in music or even if don't have man, take a hike from a negative criticism.

  To Sam - Take a hike, negative criticism didn't work for Yesudas, from other artist's or fan's.

  Honeslty, i like the answer u gave in one of your interveiws you have to competete with your dad, coz u would earn sucess in that i wish you all my best but while competing you should also keep in mind that yesudas is fav of people 70s,80s, 90s, 20s, and now the 21st too hit that target start form home from your father, its your father that can be your be person to help you hit that .. he has gone a long way .. hear it and listen to what will give you wisdom...

  hey vijay!..i dnt know what others say..all i know is your an amzin singer...got a lot to improve..but..that will improve with time and practice. people will say what they have to..some will encourage and some will criticise..its their world and mind..but u shld do what u have to and live up to the expections of your great father and your fans. Its goin to be a long journey..no doubt but u can make it if u try .
  
  this is for all the ppl out there criticisin:...dnt takt it personnel though..but pls give him a break..not only him but all the new singers out ther...i think its high time we must stop comparing singers to legends like DR KJ Yesudas....is not rt..we all know there is only one Yesudas..
  everyones got their own voices..some will make it big some will not..but its us who shld give them a chance..if ur a great singer ur self then u have the rt to comment. just take vijay for instancedo u knw how much the lad is being accepted in telengu and tamil..the two telegu songs which he sang recently are a great hit. and the song in tamil called malligai malligai..fromt he movie arasu is a big hit too.y dnt u guys just hear it out.and the telegu song from the movie seetayya..and its called samayaniki.

  I think Vijay is a great singer. If you listen to "Oru Jodi Kuyil" from Manasellam, listen to the last lines of each charanam. Ha sounds amazing in them. Vijay is a wonderful upcoming singer

  give the poor guy a break yaar! he sings decently enough and has obviuos talent, only a lot of singing will smooth out the rough edges, also a course in carnatic will help. he is as good as any of the new guys i have heard recently. ofcourse he is not a prodigy or a genius like dastettan, and hence comparisons are uncalled for.. for all those vijay fans who are not aware, his father never solicits chances on his behalf and he has reached this level on his own.
