AR Rahman's Tamil Blockbuster "BOYS"

Rahman's much anticipated "Boys" is set to release soon and everyone is keen on finding out more about this album. Who are the singers? What are the soundtracks like? When is the release date? Will the album be delayed? If anyone has any idea; please post here....

Here is what i found::

Typical of Shankar, the director is not prepared to say much about the film at this point. However, it is known that the film will be very youthful, almost teeny-bop, in content, with the majority of the cast being in the 16-23 age group.

Shankar, apparently, has decided to cast all new faces in his film – and the younger the better.

In fact, a mention in various Tamil periodicals, and an accompanying advertisement to the effect that Shankar was looking for new faces, has created a headache of sorts for the producers. Curriculums vitae have been pouring in to the Surya Movies post box ever since the ad and the story ran in the vernacular press – and last heard from, the flood shows no signs of abating.

Curiously enough, the ad appears – thanks to emails and discussion groups – to have reached an audience abroad as well, with the result that newer batches of applications have US, British and suchlike stamps on them, which suits the producer and director fine since the film does incorporate a lot of NRI faces.

For Shankar, Boys will be a return to romance after Kadhalan, and to comedy after the Aishwarya Rai-Prashanth starrer Jeans. Though the film will feature fresh – and ergo, inexpensive – faces, Shankar maintains that the film will be typical of his style, which means lavish budgets, and expensive production values.

  I dont where this disc. is heading, but if the topic is about the quality of the SaReGaMe song, I sincerelty feel that ARR is capable of giving better songs. Adaikka varadheenga ennai :) I know there are lotsa ppl who say this is one of the best songs of ARR ... whatever i say is IMHO.

  newtfmpage is great place, don't spoil it by your idiocy.
  
  You may not like any Arr song we dont care, but yours posts are nothing but baloney, this shows how stupid and how much vayatheirchal you have.
  Its not too late to mend, listen to an IR song and get well or go and beg in every street for TIS.

  hey guys, just stop it. As a regular TFM DFer, she has given her opinion about a song and she is not asking you to accept her opinion. Why do u stoop down to personal attack?
  What do u want people to do in this thread other than discuss boys songs and why do u want only praises? Are we not matured enough to accept an alternate opinion?
  Just go to SOTD thread where she has praised the "jana gana mana" song.In IR thread also, vijay criticizes few IR's songs and just see how some of the fellow participants respond to alter opiions in a healthy manner.I think u people just shun any healthy arguments about music and convert every damn thread to a chat room. That is why now a days people with even little music interest don't visit TFMDF regularly and restrict themselves to SOTD and few music oriented threads.

  This great lady once said what arr has done is dished out by shankar eshaan and loy, if she really knows music and its nuances she'd have been wise not have passed such comments.
  Only an Ir maniac can come up with such comments.
  saregame is hit song and most arr fans like it, how will you guys react if we say elankatru vesuthey fit only for roadside shows, just think about it.
  I found more animosity than criticism in her post.
