  there is a chance that it might not get released
  
  1. "Veerappan Pugzhal" Rajkumar & Co., non-kannada movies kku 8 weeks thada request panni irukkanga...so non-kannada movies can get released only after 8 weeks from the date of original release
  2. Uppidada MBBS is also on its way...Remember reading somewhere that Munnabhai MBBS was removed from theatres all over South India when Gemini Film circuit bought the rights..

  It was supposed to release tomorrow,but the Karnataka film chamber has succumbed to pressure from Kannada producers&distributors that no non-kannada film should release till the panel formed by the govt gives it's report on the demands made in the Monday rally.So not just VR MBBS,Kyon ho gaya na&a telugu film are also not getting released.if the panel agrees to the demand,it will be 7 weeks b4 the movie hits the theatres&everyone would have seen it in pirated VCD ,otherwise maybe next week.it's time someone puts some sense to these chavunists that you can't force kannada films on the people.I am a kannadiga but the last kannada film i saw in a theatre was 'Marma' in Nov 2002.I prefer Tamil movies anyday.By banning other language movies,they are infringing on the fundamental rights of citizens to see what they want&do legal business(other language distributors).in fact if someone goes to court,it won't stand the legal test.
