Ajay Devgan and Vivek Oberoi can’t stop raving about the songs of Mani Ratnam’s Yuva. “A.R. Rahman and Mani Sir and dynamite together,” says Vivek on the sets of Indra Kumar and Ashok Thakeria’s Masti, and adds, “The six songs Rahman has recorded for the film are mind-blowing.”

Ajay Devgan, his co-star in Yuva and Masti, uses the same words to describe them. Incidentally, when the film was launched earlier this year, Mani Ratnam had decided not to have a single song in it.

Vivek also feels that Abhishek Bachchan’s is the best role and best performance in the film. “That guy’s career will take off in a big way after Yuva,” predicts Vivek.

  Mani Ratnam is in news again. His latest film Ayudha Ezhuthu in Tamil
  and Yuva in Hindi are getting ready fast. After 10 days of shooting
  in Kovalam, the crew has just moved to Mumbai port to shoot scenes
  involving Madhavan and Esha Deol.
  
  It looks like Vairamuthu would pen the lyrics for A R Rahman again
  after the Boys break. You can expect another Alai Payuthey in terms
  of music. Also first time Mani is experimenting the Sync Sound
  technology so it reduces the dubbing time. Esha Deol has already
  proven in her television interview that she is well versed in Tamil
  with the help of her mother Hema Malini.
  
  It is expected that the entire Tamil version to be shot in 35-40 days
  which is one of the quickest films in these days when films are being

  Not only that magix ,he already creates tunes and keep stock as he did for Kaadhaal Virus ( Sonnalum Ketpathillai ,Enthan Vaanil Songs ) ..Kannathil Muthamittal had three great songs ...These songs will defintely last for time ,i think

  I dont understand why this guy is always cursing and praying for the failure of ARR related projects. Will he ever feel thrilled if a YSR's or HJ's film flops? No...then why so only to ARR's?...is it because of hatred or jelousy??

  Nattamai there are currently 2 MD's worth waiting for to listen to their music cuz there is always something new in them...ARR & IR no use waiting for HJ,VS etc...(one exception YSR is slowly growing up and not doing the same stuff over and over) becuz they churn out the same genre over and over.just like u saying the samething over and over.

  i guess usually MR gets his tunes and everything prior to making commitment with any MD. so in this case it is OK.. i did not mean in a deragotary way, i was just thinking ARR has too many projects outside of TN/India.. will he be able to spare the time and effort for MR movie, as MR demands more than usual directors!!

  Guys,
  
  I agree with one point from Naatamai. ARR's hype is too much. Other than that he is a good composer.
  
  He takes time as he himself told will take a lot time adding one instrument after other even after recording to finish the song. That is his way of working and why should we comment about it?
  
  Hope to hear good music in Ayutha Ezhuthhu.
