To start this thread, here are the punch lines in Rajini's latest "Baba"

  100% correct. Rajni's film sells only for Rajni. Who ever it may be they are just add on only.

  If you don't want to know what's going on in Baba you are welcome to stay away from this thread. This thread will discuss the music of Baba when the music is out (Raja, is that correct?). Till then you might have to live with these so called gossip links, which many others find useful.
  
  Are you Vijayakanth / or VK fan by any chance? You seem to be whining like VK.
  
  Thalaivar movie deserves all this attention before its release as its grandeur cannot be matched by any other movie.

  The highest selling cassettes have been Padayappa and Muthu respectively. Besides no 1 can match ARR's record of audio sellout in the first few weeks. There r ppl who r not RK fans, but still will buy the Audio for ARR's music alone. And is RK so dumb that he'll not use the best commercial MD around for a movie of such Magnitude?? I dont think bringin in IR here is a good idea.

  Ramya to do a Neelambari style role in Baba too!!!!! Hope it will be as good as the one in Padayappa. She really made people hate her in that role (which proved her good acting skills).

  I saw the trailers of Rajyam. VK is gross, man. He needs to go on a crash diet and shed at least a 100kg before looking like a human again. Everytime he turns or makes any sudden movement, his fats jiggle uncontrollably...which makes me wonder whether to laugh or cry. And why r his eyes always bloodshot like a kudikaaran?   You bet. RK-Shankar-ARR-VM movie will end up costing at least 50 crores over a period of 2-3 years, which is why they did not go for it in the first place.

  This is what is great about Rajini!!! He is a good (at heart) man.
  
  He helps people in need of a break. Senthil, Goundamani, Sangavi etc are a few known names. Here's an unknown actor who is now benefitting due the chance given by Rajini in Baba.   Since Baba is a lorry driver, there are supposedly many scenes where Baba is smoking Beedis. But since law prohibits any smoking scenes in movies, Baba is thinking about changing those scenes, even though they have been filmed already.
