  i saw a news item , from sify.com, i guess that since rahman delayed the music for KM.. it may not get released on Jan14 as predicted but will get delayed further to feb.
  
  also in the news item was info that mani and other distributors were quite peeved because of it!

  Bharath...... every time ARR delays the music for any movie, we always see this kinds of rumour, but for their next movie, the directors (like MR) or distributors go back to him only..... so i don't think there is any truth in the news.....

  One more big sorry to the Audio SHop Owners/Companies(who incurred big lose in the first two movies.)
  
  Now ARR craze has been reduced a lot by the new comers like Harris JayaRaj, Yuvan, Bharani and Mani Sharma. They are the top MDs in Tamil now. ARR has to do something diffrent to stable his position here. Otherwise, no body will post even his name here in this TFM Page. ARR Fans, sorry to say this, but this is the fact.
  
  One more SAD news for ARR fans: Michael Jackson rejected the songs composed by ARR for thier joint venture. He is now rethinking of doing that Album.

  Mani Ratnam has been forced to postpone the release of his much talked about film, the Madhavan-Simran starrer Kannathil Muttham Itten, from Pongal to sometime in February. The film has been delayed because A.R Rahman has not delivered the songs on time, and Tips the audio company who has taken the rights insists upon a 30 day gap between the audio and the theatrical release of the film.
  
  Mani and his distributors are peeved that Rahman is taking ages to deliver the music, which has made them miss the Pongal date. Rahman, who is going through an all time low wants to complete Sharan’s Alli Arjuna, the Manoj-Richa starrer which he had started a year back which is also due for Pongal. Rahman it seems, has lost interest in Tamil music and is now concentrating more on his project with Andrew Webber and spends most of his time in London.

  about which album are u talking robin? as far as i am informed arr only composed one song which had something to do with michael jackson, and this, as we all know, is 'ekam satyam', and this one song didn't make it to mj's latest album 'invincible'. but u seem to be talking of songS, so i assume u mean some other album...please clarify... (also where u have this news from)

  The Rahman-mania is lost in Tamil Nadu. Many NEW MDs are evolved now. Why? Not only ARR is capable in Sound Engineering and mixing, Haris is doing much better than him in Majnu and Minnale. Yuvan is doing something different and in Nandha he proved he is capable of doing all sort of music. Now in Tamil Cinema, Bharani is the music director having more number of movies. Mani Sharma's Shajahan is already a hit and he is now working in a meha-project with Vijay and one more with Ajit. In GV's next movie, D.Imam is the music director. Where is ARR? Audio Onwer are under pressure becuase of his slow composing. KB is having a big loss in PP. Eventhough Tenali is a hit movie, musical-wise it is very very average. Start movie and sales of the cassete is flop. Alli Arjuna - already in the flop list. That is why I told ARR has to be some thing different, otherwise he will be history soon.

  Robin must have read one of that Crap Rumours in Kumudam Reporter and jumping for joy...It carried a rumour that Bombay Dreams was dropped & that Rahman wanted to do an album with MJ , which he promptly rejected...mabbe hez referring that...
  Its absolutely fictitious and doesnt even have an ounce of truth in it.... There was even a thread on that in newtfmpage...ARR never planned an album with MJ after Ekam Satyam... But there is no one to stop them, if they plan to do it in future...Sorry for the disappointing news Robin...

  And btw, whoz this Barani ??? The fact that he scores music for many films, wont make him an IR or ARR in TFM... And i hear that this Mani Sharma is a big time copy cat...And shah jahan didnt even have a single inspiring number in it...Mabbe SUN Tvs reviews and countdown is what is misleading you ppl i guess...Dont read much into them...They purposely gave PP lower ratings coz of the tussle they had with KB & his production company Min bimbangal...
  Btw, ARR doesnt need to do anything to stabilize his position in TFM...He has already etched a place for him in TFM and these so-called newcomers dont even pose an iota of threat...

  well good that things are finaly taking their own course.... for one thing i am still not sure if newtfmpage.com is the right place to have a view of the tamil film music... becos ..either people seem to be IR fanatics or ARR fanatics..and someone like vidyasagr who came to tfm this year... and "SHOVED" IR , ARR, DEVA... ..doesnt deserve a thread ...nor any forum to discuss his songs... but when songs like "star" ...or "kutty" comes.... there we go ... "rehman creates magic " .."IR back to his best "..whom are you trying to cheat here....DeVA maybe the copy cat...but everytime he comes up with something. ..we go... "bull ****.... he must be hanged.."..that man has been givin out some popular no.s ... in the recent past... yet ..no remorse for him..
  
  well if u look at the past year ... the most memorable score has come from BHARANI ...every song from " parvai ondre pothuma " was pure melody ...minus his ghana songs..at the behest of the producers...but still that gana song managed to hit the town ina big way...and somebody like guess who ..doismisses him...this forum can be changed... ARR AND IR FORUM ..nuthing lese...ARR fans dont want to accept ..he sucks big time now... IR fans dont want to accept he is past his best .... and YSR is hailed as the next big thing... why these loyalities guys...please give others chance...be fair ...
  manisharma has come big time with "shah jahan".... harris is going great guns... personal favourites can be held as reasons..but then there is no meaning in dismissing other's as just craps...
