Hi,
I havent got my copy os KKS,
I listened to KKS on oosai,
I must say excellent.
Theekuruviil is AMAZING, the best song ive heard in ages from anybody in tfm. It is simply mind blowing.
En uyir thoxhi and cindrella are excellent as well, the type of melodies that have been missing in ARRs movies recently.
I havent listened to anarkali.
Aha Thamil amma is good, nothing great to rave about.
Eventhough i havent heard one song yet, I am going to buy both the audio and CD. This is must buy. KKS is ARRs most unique album from his youth oriented boyz and e20u18.
Barathiraja has best ppossiblemusic now he has to deliver.
One more question, do you guys know if Music world in spencersgo KKS yet? cause till this am the small shops near my home havent got it, they r asking me to wait till this pm, I CANNOT WAIT!!!

KKS is an excellent example of sheer magic. 'Ennuyir thozhiye' is awesome- Unnimenon sounds so fresh & what can we say about Chinmayi? 'Theekkuruvi' is excellently rendered by Harini. Man...her carnatic taanams in the end r soething to die for! New singer, Mukesh sounds so much like Karthik. 'Anarkali' has its influence from North-India. The tabla is great. 'Cindrella' is another candy-floss song from the inimitable, romantic singer, Hariharan. 'Thamizhamma' is def inspired from Boys & E20. But the songs r amazing. Reminds me of Vintage ARR. Bharatiraja-ARR combo has always given us great melodies.
Long live the King of Music!!!

I am so hooked to "Ennuyir thozhiye" that I am not able to get past it to the other songs. I listen to it 4-5 times back to back and turn it off, just to savour it again in my mind. My dream come true - Shuddha Saveri and ARR come together! I'm very impressed by Theekkuruvi too (hats off Harini!) Will get to looping on it as soon as I can liberate myself from E. Thozhiye!

Wow
What an awesome music guys!
After a long time we get to hear an album that sounds close to the 1990s ARR!
The Theekuruvil song is definitely one of the most novel and great songs I have heard in the last few years from anyone in TFM!
I am sure ARR concentrated on this album really well!! The typical stamp of ARR is there in every song. Coming to think of it I am positive no other composer could have conceived of such melody + orchestration. Tyhe synths are just tooooooo amazing!!
One whole satisfying album after AP and Boys!!!!

Impressive album, with lots of melodies. Theeekuruviyaai - Harini back in action. What a soulful rendition! It gets projected more so by that odd male voice crying yedho maa yedho madhiri. Is it set in Yaman Kalyani? Lovely song.

Theekuruvi sucks man! worst song of the album.. anarkali and aha thamilama is good. anarkali is the pick. cindrala and enuyir tholiye are not bad. Theekuruvi sounds awful!

guys, the gamakaas rendered by harini r the effects added by arr(by mixing,fastening,....)don't get obsessed with HARINI.

sattiyil irundhaal agappaiyil varum. It is quite obvious that it was not all done in one shot the way we hear it now.

it is very obvious that it has been mixed dubukku. Everyone knows that. But that voice and the gamakam rendered by Harini is just awesome. Recall Mannil Indha kaadhal andri.. sung bySPB. Everyone knew that Ilayaraja mixed different tracks to sound as if SPB sung the stanza continuously, but would you say to people not to get obsessed about SPB's voice? Come on, talents have to be appreciated. (Harini, now get ready to pay me for being your promoter!!)

Amazingly composed songs, atleast 3 of them Enyuri tho.., theekurvil, aaha thamizhamma is gr8.. other donot pass muster, but a pleasant hear.. the above three are capitivating in creativity, music and singers talent, plus gr8 assembly of instruments, not overdoing anyparts..
Pure melody, liked it..

Enuyir Thozhiyae is a class on its own. After a long time ARR has given a great melody. I got to accept ARR is no fluke.
KKS is great album. It will go great heights when the movie gets released.

Come on Aswathama, After so many films, bombay dreams and other achievements you still need to tell he is no fluke.
He has proved himself time and again but i dont know why some people are so eager to pull him down.

Bombay Dreams is a recycle mess. I don't judge Rahman's success with that. I really felt Rahman ran out of gas after Alaipayuthey and Kandukodaen. Even Kannathil Muthamittal didn't impress me. His music capture our attention in the first listening. It was in 2000 later everything became experimental and noisy. I want this kind of melody with good orchestration which rahman use to give long time ago.
