So, WHO is doing the music for Thangar Bachchan's next film...?

...titled "Thendral" starring Karthik, produced by Oscar Films V.Ravichandran. Is it Ilayaraja or Vidyasagar? Please let me know. Also, provide a link, if you guys can, where it confirms that Ilayaraja or Vidyasagar is doing the music for Thangar's next film.

  yaa agreed dudes.. but u have to accept post92 as ARR era cos MD's were following ARR's style and not to mention that he revived the dying Hindi industry too with Rangeela. hey consider the hits that ARR dished out in Hindi too, that makes his achievements special and Vandemataram.... shall i conclude by wishing thangar bachan gud luck for his project and saying that

  So there is no meaning for anY topic. Every where ARR IR arguement.
  
  There should be a permenant topic for that IR ARR arguement.

  The difference
  
  While Single MD domination the TF industry was so healthy. Many new directors,Producers,Artists jumpued to TF industry.All the producers wewr happy to make movies with the single MD.They were least bothered of superstars and valuable directors.The single MD was enough confidence for them to make movie.
  The no of movies for a year was more than hindi movies.
  
  Later many new MDs jumped in and single MD domination was coming to an end. All the producers jumped out of TF industry(GV,K.T.Kunjumon). All the great artist(rajini),directors(Balachandar-PP,MR-KM,Bharathiraja etc..) every one sucked.
  
  Finally TF industry came to an end!!!!.

  pls let me know a few names who r following ARRs style of composing i cant find anyone other than HJ and YSR.[even if they r following him u cant credit that to ARR cos ARR doesnt hav a style of his own its a borrowed style of western pop artists]
  all others r still following our gr8 IRs style of composition.and IRs style of composition is unique in the sense that he was the founder of the syle he is using which is followed by many MDs till date.

  IR used computer music very sparingly isn't it? After 1992 a lot of MD's used computer music due to ARR's entry... y didn't they take the idea straight from WEST only..... man u have one big problem abt ARR, for god's sake westerners dunt give songs like THENKIZHAKU CHEEMAYILE, KANNODU KANBEDHALLAM...... though ARR uses good beats in songs, listen to his tunes they are all INDIAN...(not south indian maybe)........

  u ve got a very big problem of associating computer music to ARR.in various threads ive definetely established the fact that IR was the first one to use computer music in films and it was done for the first time in India for the film vikram by IR.
  now u say all MDS followed ARR in computer music, long b4 ARR Athithayan did that in the film Amaran.and ARR got to know abt using computers for films only while working as a keyboard artist under.
  yes i agree taht westerners dont giv songs like THENKIZHAKU CHEEMAYILE, KANNODU KANBEDHALLAM...... but they r made to look like western songs by the Orchestration ARR uses fo thsoe songs.
  never in his career he has been truthful to indian music. jus tell me one song where he has composed entirely depending upon indian style of music. even if ur able to find a song with pure carnatic base like nila kaaygirathu or kannodu kanbathellam he converts them to look western with the bgm he uses in the song. all his songs are impure.like a shemale who is neither a male neither a female.

  We use english and as if that is "very indian" we criticise when another MD uses western influence!!!!
  
  It wont take ARR even one second to throw of all his keyboards and western instruments and do a dandanakka song! But does he really want to is the big question!
  
  Ihope this thread does not go more crazy! I hope ppl dont come up with ridiculous criteria like "how many times has ARR worn Dhoti in functions?"
  
  Anyway getting back to the topic, I am eager to see Thangar's next film after some brilliant tunes in Solla Marantha Kathai and Azhagi!
  
  I hope this time he comes up with something better than SMK(i meant the movie)
