Guys,

7GRC's preview is coming on tv channels now. Yuvan has come up with a different theme music this time. Any thoughts?

  This is a decent album inspite of not living upto the expectations created by Kaadhal kondean.The songs like Kanaa Kaanum Kaalangal(Harish Raghavendra,Madumita),Ninaithu Ninaithu(Shreya Goshal) and Ithu Porkalam(Harish Raghavendra) are very nice

  i seriously dont understand what is happening here with these people. either they hate music or they hate yuvan.so sad they dont like this kind of album.think they will be big losers of wonderful music.they like only manmada rasas and meaningless music in a.eluthu.
  when someone comes with a nice album ,and we give this kind of treatment ..will they try it next time guys? please think about it. if you love music ,original music ,wonderful music just go for RAINBOW COLONY..

  i can seriously touch my heart and say i understand wat AE is abt and enjoy it more then anything ive heard in the last 12 yrs.i enjoy AE more then i did roja,bombay,uyire,kadhal kondein etc.

  Just kidding. AE is indeed a great album.But I would not accept that it is better than Roja & Uyire.And I also will surely accept that tastes differ.

  this is best album by ysr after thulluvatho ilamai and kothal kondaen but cd was i bought here in malaysia by Fivestar only have 6 songs, 2 theme music and ninaithu ninaitu by shreya goshal was missing.

  nope i honestly feel that.in roja the only songs i like were:chinna chinna aasai (sometimes- cuz i cant listen to that on repeat),kadhal rojave and thamziha thamizha.and in uyire i only like thaiya thaiya and sandhosha kaneera and when im in the mood poongatrilay.
  
  and are u talkin to me abt Ullam?well i was one of the few who wasnt amazed by it so ill take it u were.i found it avg.had its moments but nuthin was gr8 abt it,seemed same ol same ol by ysr to me.only could listen to 3 of the songs from that album.and of those 3 i only enjoyed kannei thirundha song the other two id just listen to cuz i would be too lazy to switch the cd.
  but i enjoy all the songs in AE more then i did those.so yeh tis why i said i like AE more.

  Oli 96.8 played one song this afternoon. Refreshing and semi-classical song. Can't figure out the various voices though. Sounded average for Yuvan's standard. Hopefully the other songs are better. But I know Yuvan doesn't fail usually.

  hmmmmm xml's post can look bogey but everyone lapped up rediffs posts before the release of the movie Yuva....just a thought even tho xmls thought was pulled from the air.
  
  but i feel 7 G RC is being marketed poorly.cuz usually if an album is being looked forward to it comes out on the sites etc quickly.for example aethiree was marketed quite well by ayn.ysr's perazhagan was even released on cds quickly.AE was marketed well too.just wondering why this album is so slow to get out even though it has been out for 4-5 days now i believe.

  Few songs of this album are mind-blowing like "kanaa kaanum", "ninaithu ninaithu".
  
  Kanaa Kaanum - The magic voice of madumitha and harish lifts the richness of the song one level up. It is a good experiment by yuvan next to "En anbae" in Mounam pesiathey. Although the fusion attempt on a melody with bass violins reminds "enakkena erkenave" from paarthen rasithen and "malagale" from love birds, it is outstanding one.
  
  Enna vazhkai - The song starts in spanish style, deviates to western-classical in the middle and ends with wow voices. Nothing it leaves to our heart.
  
  Ithu porkalama - More of rocky sound domination as vidhya sagar did for "vendum vendum" in dhill. One good thing about this is harish voice.
  
  Kan pesum - A philosophical song. Karthik has enriched with his voice next to "Aadatha attamellam" in Mounam pesiathey.
  
  Naam vayathukku - An average song with bit of jackson style.
  
  Ninaithu ninaithu - Brilliant piece from yuvan. Starts with mild piano. In the recent times he has been repeatedly proving his piano talent(e.g, May maatham, "Oru azhagana" of perazhagan).
  Also enriched with catchy violins, tabla.
  
  I haven't still heard the theme.
  
  
  Yuvan is doing good. Especially his BGM is just out of our imagination not even ARR is capable of. If he wants a seat next to IR and rehman, some more distinct efforts are required. Not just 2 or 3 out of 5. It has to be 5 out of 5. Better he can commit less number of movies and do it excellently. Any outcome shouldn't be comparable to the previous ones.
