  being a fan of raja, i have the right to know about some of the facts concerning him. first of all
  is there any proof that balu mahendra or whoever had asked raja to copy and raja had
  succumbed to the pressure? why should raja yield to balu especially when he was at his peak?
  was it mainly because of his friendship with balu?
  
  finally a visit to the chem engg dept at sc.edu, gave a list of grad students, and vijay matched with vijayanand rajagopalan.

  nakkeeran, assuming that MS is too sweet a guy to indulge in the barbaric(!) practices of velaiyaththavrgaL, remember that there were postings loooong time back when MS used to refer to a roommate called vijay?? i remember, when MS started some thread and was discussing something intensely(!) , this bugger vijay came up with "pOda, pOi examkku padikkara vazhiyap paaru", which smells fully of vElaiyaththavan's traits(!). so, i discounted MS from the search. if MS is schizophrenic and has an alter ego in the form of velai, then i give up:-))))))))

  There is another clue? Vijay has not been here for nearly ages. All of a sudden he makes a timely appearance claiming to be Non-Velaiyathavan. But ofcourse Velai might have alerted him about the goings-on?
  
  Personally, I have the impression that Velai is not Vijay, though I am not particularly inclined to dig out and produce proof. :))
  There's also anotehr thing to think of:
  If you can spend so much time on vetti research like this, who is the *real velaiyathavan* ?

  i have no reasons to fart. the bottomline is that iam not 'him'. by stating this iam helping u actually in your investigations, by preventing your focus from getting shifted to the wrong person :)) u might know the identity pretty soon :)) keep your eyes and ears open and dig a little more, u'll find it.

  bb, super work!!! KizhichutteL ponga!! But did you notice one similarity in Vijay's and Velai's denials? Both of them have said "Yeah, I am not ...." ,starting their denials with affirmatives, strange isn't it ? I would've started with a negative.
