  Kollywood Godfather
  This post isn't about the multitude of films that borrowed story ideas from the Hollywood classic Godfather. With the protests over english names for tamil movies still gearing up, I was suprised this morning to a see an film ad on tamil dailies that read, God father. A middle aged man with a thick white moustache and spectacles posed for the ad. He looked similar to our Ajith. Adjusting my eyes, I looked it up once more. It's Ajith Kumar himself.
  
  There was more to come. The film produced by NIC Arts is being directed by K S Ravikumar. The previous time Ajith and KSR combo worked out in Villain. Note the english name again. Ask for the technical crew and here you go with more. A R Rahman on the keys and PC Sreeram with the camera.
  
  What more should we do but hope that KSR doesn't re-use Jaggubhai's story here. But jokes apart, it is a dream combo especially with PC Sreeram joining the crew. Probably this was what Ajith mentioned in his Attakasam trailer as, Ezhundutaen, Tho Varen.

  'God father' gets off in a Flying Start!
  - 19.11.2004
  
  The team of the film 'God father' is moving with lightening speed. The pooja for this film was conducted only four days ago and the shooting was started immediately.
  
  Ajith's presence is needed for the film 'Ji' to get it completed. But he jumped over to the 'God father'. The reason is that this film should beat the 'Chandramuki'
  
  The 8th wonder is happening now. The song sequence for this movie is being filmed now. One may ask what is so special in this? The music is scored by A.R.Rehman.
  
  Usually he would take atleast 8 to 9 months to give a tune. But the wonder is how come he had given tunes to 'Godfather' in a express speed?
  
  There is a rumor that, he had given only his old Hindi film tunes. But the people working in the film are refusing this, saying all the tunes are new only.
  
  Whatever the case, the 'God father' had began his journey with a bang.

  SPB singing is a real great news. But , hope the song he gets is not a lousy one like in the movie "New". He deserves songs like "unakkenna mele ninraai" from MSV or "Nadha vinodhangal " from IR or "mettu podu" from ARR

  Most of hte people including the Admin of this site is anti ARR. This site shoudl be called Total ir Music Forum instead of Tamil Music Forum. Shame on the Admin.. He keeps on deletign pages which are insulting to IR but keeps ARR pages as it is... How stupid it is and there are some lame folks here who comes here to do 9-5 Job of blasting ARR and keep praising IR for his stupid music (music he scored after ARR came into the picture).
