  Welcome back. Haven't seen you in the forum for a while. Rameshb has found enough time to get away from SPB and upload some wonder classics amongst which are two of my favourites: thanga ratham vandhadhu and ponnondru kandEn. You should listen to them. The quality is excellent.

  Offhand i can only think of the "Real Server" of 50megs or xoom being down or too busy ! I don't have real player/sound chord at work and so i cann't check it myself. So please give me sometime until tonight. Meanwhile listen to those wonderful numbers like "oru puram vaedan " and "padagu padagu aasai padagu" from Ramki's site!

  I think compiling a list of rare songs is a great idea. I discovered several threads on 70s songs and of course IR stuff in the archives, but nothing else. I've jotted down several songs that I don't have from there (manitharil ithanai nirangala, muthaana muthallavo, sivappu malli, kovil pura, etc).
  
  Please post your wish list(s) - I'm leaving for Madras on the 24th and will check there to see what's available.

  those who had problems reading the text in my page should no longer have difficulties. The page redirects to a different server which doesn't kill the background of my page. The popup might flicker in annoyance but you may close that. Thanks to those who showed due concern.

  sk i have one more question. I was listening to 'kondai oru pakkam(vivasayi)'.The female voice at the starting of the song doesnt sound like KRVIjayas(it sounded like Saroja devis). Did some else gave voice to KRVijaya ??

  is from 'en aNNan', I think. I will make the 2

  Vaali and KVM never got along well. But azhagu
  dheivam mella mella came from their combination.
  The two never saw each other during the making of
  this song.. Vaali wrote and passed it through
  the producer to KVM and KVM set the tune. Vaali
  says that Sivaji liked the following lines very much...
