New Page for Rare Hits of Ilayaraaja

  Who is the female singer in Naan Oru Ponnoviyam? Is it SP Shailaja? I think the pace of the song is little faster than usual.

  I think i can do that...it just adds on to the length of the page. Currently am very busy with some school work....anyway I do not wish to disappoint fans by not paying heed to their requests.
  
  So I will do this....Until I get sometime during the week, I will upload songs to both RANDOM PLAY as well as the page.....I will organize the page when I get some time.
  
  The female voice for "Naan Oru" is P Susheela. The song is not that fast...Maybe you would have got accustomed to hearing to that song at a slower pace in your tape recorder. If you want I can reduce the pace. Let me see if there are anymore complaints in this regard from other fans as well.

  A special bonus...listen to the HIGH QUALITY AUDIO FILES of the recent 2 additions in RANDOM PLAY OPTION.
  
  Depending on the feedback which you guys can offer particularly on these 2 songs, I can work on other songs like UNNAI NINANCHEN PAATU PADICHEN to sound very much like this.
  
  so do not forget to comment on the audio quality on these 2 songs---one from UNNAI NAAN SANTHITHEN and the second from CHEMBARUTHI...

  I am very happy that I have successfully passed my Masters Qualifying exam.....the one which I had to take this Monday (uploads were delayed due to this)
  
  In order to celebrate this.....I am going to upload like close to 15 songs this weekend....Most of them are going to be Rajinikanth hits and are going to fill all of u in happiness......Films right from Netrikan....to Un Kannil Neer Vazhinthaal.....
  
  Watch out....Uploads will be made continuously throughout the weekend....

  Congratulations !!! Now for the bad news. Yes, a few of your songs are recorded at a faster pace :-( I have mentioned this before. It is most obvious in "Katril Endhan..." - the SJ version. I think the "Ponin Thiruvonam Thirunaalum" also sounds fast because I am pretty sure that IR's voice is not as high pitched as it sounds in this song. But then when you have done soooooo much for us IR fans who cares if a couple of songs are fast :-)))) Now that you free for some more time, I have one more request !!!

  This one is for your future consideration -
  "Ada Aan Enna Penn Enna" from Dharmadurai (I think). Just think about it - IR's rarest hits have already EXCEEDED the total number of songs (hits and kuppais) produced by some top MDs like ARR, Vidyasagar, et al today ! Thanks Rex, for showing us this wonderful, new perspective of IR :-)))

  1. Ennai Thottu allikonda (I feel the quality can be improved)
  2. Kaatril Endhan (Faster pace)
  3. Ponnin Thiruvonam (Faster pace)
  4. Oru Malai Chandiran (I feel the quality can be improved)
  5. Holi Holi Holi (Same as previous)

  I can never be complacent in what I do...Even if you have a problem with a single song (have you seen the persistent queries from Vijay???---he does not leave even a single song...if it does not work....or the quality is poor etc....) do bring it to my attention.
  
  I will try to do the best thing possible with the time I have.
