Shankar with Harris Jayaraj

Hi gang,
This time i have got some spicy news as usual.
Shankar has booked harris jayaraj for his new movie with vikram in the lead.
Its a movie for oscar films.

  Finally after waiting for months for Aishwarya Rai to dole out dates, director Shankar has signed Sada to be the heroine for his next film Anniyan with Vikram in the lead.
  
  For Sada, a Pune based Bohra Muslim who was introduced by Director Teja in Telugu with Jayam it is the biggest break in her career. Sada also did the Tamil remake of Jayam with the same title which went on to be a big hit. And now she is the heroine of Srikanth in this week’s release Varnajaalam. Sada is also doing K.S.Ravikumar’s Aethiree opposite Madhavan.
  
  Shankar’s Anniyan will have the Puja on March 4 at AVM studio in Chennai. Vikram has given six months bulk dates for the film which will have P.C. Sreeram as the cameraman. Last month Shankar, music director Harris Jayaraj and lyricist Vairamuthu had gone to Phuket islands near Bangkok to compose three out of seven songs in the film. Oscar Ravichandran is the producer and the film is slated for Pongal 2005 release.
  
  Meanwhile Sada who is shooting for a Telugu film in Hyderabad said: “I have signed Shankarji’s film and it is a dream come true for me and that too, to be paired with superstar Vikram”.

  Firstly, I think you are elevating shankar too much. I think Boys was a failure, in concept, script and presentation. If shankar chooses someone else as MD, and you have no proof of reason behind the move, shut up!

  This is what I was expecting, you know what this symptom called "Sour Graping" Athanpaa Chee Intha Pazaham Pulikum Kathai. Sorry state of affair for ARR man. Shankar is the one other than Maniratnam helped ARR to shoot up to this level.

  how come a great enemy like shanker became a hero to IR fans suddenly. All these time you have been ditching ARR and shanker and their movies as craps, but the moment shanker switches to another MD he bacomes a hero. Is this reasonable? Why do u have to hate a single guy called ARR this much? Its is really sad to see the arrogant behaviour of our tamilians like this. Lets shed these hyprocracy. After all music is there not to cultivate enemies, but it itself is a language to bring harmony among us regardless of culture,caste, religion.

  Ever since the media began opposing the film ‘Boys’, Shankar had been refusing to speak to either the press or the TV channels. Shankar had been scoring big with five consecutive hits. Then came his sixth release- ‘Boys’. Even before the film was released, the songs had become a big hit with the youngsters. This had increased the expectations about the film. But, the film changed everything around. The very lewd scenes had created intense opposition amidst the people and the film had a tough time with the Censor Board. Shankar meanwhile took off to a foreign country but is now very busy with Vikram on the new film ‘Anniyan’. However, he continues to refuse speaking to the Press. Shankar had given the film a veru serious name and the film is expected to be along the lines of his previous hits like ‘Gentleman’ and ‘Muthalvan’. A few days ago Shankar had gone to Bangkok along with Harris Jayaraj and Vairamuthu. He has selected some tunes and Vairamuthu is said to be busy writing lyrics for the

  After Boys Shankar is coming out with yet another bilingual film, Aparichitudu, with Vikram and Sada in the lead.   My wishes for Shanker for his new making...
  Hope that he will deliver something goods this time. like his old movies ( not boys ). He is one good director who knows the talent of the artiest and ( actor or music director or cameraman or photo.. ) and he will get done what HE wants..

  First look: Shankar’s `Anniyan`
  He who comes from hell is not afraid of hot ashes!
  This is the tagline of Shankar’s Anniyan starring Vikram (in three roles?). The pooja of the film will be held today at AVM studio at 9 am. The invitation is innovative with different get-ups of Vikram looking menacing. The story is by Sujatha. Manikandan is the cinematographer while Sabu Cyril is the art director. Raju Sundaram is the choreographer and Peter Hien is the stunt master. Sada is Vikram's heroine, but her photo is missing in the invitation.   “It might happen” said some. “It might not happen” said others about the Shankar- Vikram collaboration. But, it is happening. Finally, the film ‘Anniyan’ has been launched. Vikram is the busiest hero in Tamil cinema now and Shankar is a big director. Oscar Ravichandran was planning to bring them together in his next film, ‘Anniyan’. Meanwhile, rumors began that Vikram was not happy with Shankar’s stories and had suggested plenty of changes.   `Anniyan` launched in style!

  The launch of Shankar’s Anniyan was held today between 9.15 and 9.30 am. All the bigwigs of the industry attended the function at AVM studio in Chennai.
  
  Vikram dressed in all black hugged Shankar after the pooja and said: "Anniyan will be one of the most important films in my career as I always dreamed to work with Shankar who is one of the finest directors."
  
  Both Shankar and Vikram refused to talk anything about the film. Vairamuthu, who is trying to stage a comeback after he fell out with A.R.Rahman, said: "There are five songs in the film and all of them are fantastic. Harris Jayaraj is going to go places after Anniyan music is released."
  
  The heroine Sada was missing, as she was busy shooting for a Telugu film in Pollachi.
  
  The final word from Shankar: “I intend to finish the film in six months and probably release the film for Diwali."
  
  However the absence of other stars in the industry at the function was noticed.
