Rajini next 'ENGAL AYYA'

It seems Rajini is ready to do his next movie after the flop of BABA. His next movie is 'ENGAL AYYA' featuring Trisha as the heroine. The other two heroine is Meena and Aishwarya Rai. Rajini is doing 3 Role in this movie where the 1st Rajini is coming from U.S and a modern type man wearing coat, accompanied by Janakaraj. The 2nd Rajini is Headmaster of a school, wearing dhoti and patte, accompanied by Vivek while the 3rd one is working in a railway station, wearing RED shirt and drinking alcohol and Bidi. He is accompanied by Goundamani. The 3 RAJINI will be going to marry but they will suddenly meet each other shockingly at Thirupathi and that is the INTERVAL. After Interval, the story is SUSPENSE(story including politic and action). WAIT & SEE

  Why is this news not true?
  1) Rajni is permitted to do only a maximum of 2 roles in his films - one without dhaadi and one with dhaadi(black or white!) and it is essential that these people are related in some manner - father and son preferably; appadiyaavadhu padathula konjam logic irukkattum-nu oru aadhangam dhaan!
  2) Rajni from U.S. That would mean lots of English and Rajni would have no intentions to finish it off with a comedy film!
  3) Rajni would not go to Thirupathi. Now way! Imaya Malai-oda chinnadha endha malai irundhaalum mathikkarthu illai avar!

  Isnt it time,he let go of the film industry.he has a gr8 name in the industry,why not retire gracefully.orelse,he could choose charecter roles and still act the hero.Why bother acting with young heroines.it just shows how aged he is.:(

  He wants to retire as he made it very clear. Just wants to give a hit before he does so. Young heroines, aged ones, doesn't really matter. They are afterall going to get a few frames! IMO, the getup in the second half of Padayappa was more apt. That kinda role would be better.

He is a bit to old to play heroes in films. For example in Baba you can tell he is pretty old. Plus, the make up isn't helping either to prevent that from showing so yeh.

  Father roles or whatever. Wouldn't matter as long as his characterization is good. Baba was actually as horrible as one could think of. The makeup was simply awful! He actually looks younger without the makeup!! ;-) Maybe he got the wrong person for the job. Perhaps the guy who did the makeup for IndianThaatha?! :-)
  
  And yeah, I was just suggesting that getup coz a beard would cover most of his face and that would be a safer approach! ;-)

  Ellarum aruval edukarange sir.if Rajini also falls in the same cateogry,then its stereotype.not befitting for a man with his name and fame.Something like Padaiyappa is fine,for him.but he cant repeat the same thing,so iam guessing he is running out of ideas,and ofcourse age:)

  Talapathi ,was certainly good,but the ultimate idea for the movie came from mahabharath(dhuryodhan and karnan)maybe,he should go in to our epics and get some strong charecter and moderinise it like talapathi.Its just an idea.

  That's not a bad idea, infact i read some blog that Ayutha ezuthu's 3 heros are modernized characters from Ponniyen selvan like Vandiya thevan etc....

  Since many of the people here are confused as to what the next Rajni film would deal with, I've managed to get the story from a very relaible source...
  
  Film Name : Engal Ayya
  Sub Title : Amma thaaye pichai podungamma
  
  Story...
  Rajni usually starts off being a poor guy and ends up being a rich guy in say like one song where you have all these graphics used to draw some buildings,cars etc in the background. Being his last film, this is slightly different.
  
  Rajni is a very rich guy. But he has come to this status only after doing "vivasaayam" and he never forgets the past usually (idhellam Rajni padathula change panna mudiyaathupa!) and so he has a mini land inside his bungalow where he "nattufies" the "naaththu" and grows some crops, pongifies it in a nasungina aluminia anda and eatifies it at home. But he has to maintain his status outside and so he wears all this coat,suit,boots etc. Ofcourse he is a very large hearted man who also has large lungs due to excessive smoking. This expansion actually occupies more space and gives lesser space for his heart which occasionally comes in the way of his dhanam and dharmam. (Idha signify panna appo appo oru flash kaatuvom and Rajni moonji vaerthufies!)
