Manmatha Raasa - A big break for Dhina (Sep 15, 2003)

Dhina, the hit master of TV serials, has been having a bad run at films starting from 'Annai','Middleclass Madhavan' and a moderate hit 'King'. 'Thiruda Thirudi' (*ing Dhanush,Saaya Singh. Dir: Subramaniam Siva) which was an unexpected hit has given the much needed break for him in TFM. The song 'Manmatha Raasa' in particular has become a super duper hit topping almost all charts now. (Incidentally this song also gives a break for Malathi Lakshman of Lakshman-Sruthi Music Troup fame.) Let's hope he gives more hits with musically richer albums.
