Don't know if this song has been discussed in this thread before.
The movie Panchami was never released, however the 4 songs were nothing short of masterpieces, which used to be featured in Ilangai Oliparappuk Koottuthaabanam Tamizhchevai 2 (Radio Ceylon), under the programme, 'Maranthum Malaraathavai'.
The relatively well-known song from this movie is the P Susheela solo, 'Udhaya Kalame Nanaintha Meghame'.
The song I am talking about today is a rare duet by S Janaki and TV Gopalakrsihan (the veteran music maestro, violinst, mridangist and guru, who taught Carnatic music to Ilaiyaraja).
S. Janaki once again takes a masterclass to today's so-called playback singers on how to expressively sing, with the right feel and clarity of diction.
Here's the Youtube link (audio quality is not good though).
The same user has uploaded a better quality track on soundcloud here (thanks Narayanan)

Enjoy!
The song is set to Raga 'Karnataka Kamas' (remember 'Ponnil Vaanam POttathu kOlangaLe' from Villuppaattukkaaran, 'Brochevarevarura' from Shankarabharanam)
