I am sorry to say that most of the time the Maestro can't even hold his sruthi when he sings. The same goes for Yuvan. Yet, he has the audacity to embarrass singers publicly for small slip-ups. It was not as if the singers went off sruthi or missed a beat. It was in most cases a difference in singing style and that too because most of these singers were not singing their own song and probably had at most a couple of rehearsals before the concert. Maestro is one of the best composers of our time but he shouldn't behave as if he is infallible. I'm pretty sure he wouldn't try telling off Yesudas for singing certain lines in a different style for it wouldn't take long for the former to in turn tick off IR for singing off sruthi!

when Das etta was made to sing the wonderful 2nd saranam of Poove Sempoove not twice but thrice....
That shows his passion for music and to do justice for all the people who are sitting there in the auditorium....I dont find any fault in this.... Nothing to get offended....
^^^ That was different. Yesudas way overshot the cue after the 2nd interlude...started too early. He himself wanted to sing it again and do it correctly out of professional pride. In fact he asked for the third and final chance from IR. That - a gross mistake - is not the same thing as simply singing a phrase differently (but still in tune and rhythm).

Chitravoo, SPB, KJY, Mano, Karthik en infact Shreya kooda... they all sing perfectly... chumma improvise panrenttu abathama padinaa eppadi othukka mudiyum?? Like Thippu sothappifying Unna Vida in chennai concert....!!
Avar Studioleye he doesnt allow improvisation....(What all singers atleast say)..... appadi erukum pothu why to spoil compositions on stage.....
