‘Kalki’ (Ra. Krishnamurthi ) is rightly hailed as one of the finest writers of Modern Tamil Literature and maestro of historical fiction, a genre he virtually developed single-handedly and made it almost an art form with his classic novels like ‘Sivakamiyin Sapatham’, ‘Paarthiban Kanavu’ and others.

Music was composed by the noted Classical Carnatic musician also sadly neglected today, Thuriayur Rajagopal Sarma and R. Rajagopal under the supervision of another forgotten theater personality N.P. Abdul Khader. He was a singer, composer, stage actor and had several such talents and skills, and was active in Tamil theatre and also in enacting in gramophone ‘drama sets.’ which were popular in those days. Today few remember him..
