Watched the trailer on the big screen and all I can say is it has all the elements in it to become a colossal flop. I am seeing people jumping over others for criticizing the substandard animation, motion capture or whatever you call it. You need not match the standards set by Avatar or Tintin. Nobody expects TFI to make huge strides. At least match a Magadheera. If you spend 120 crores and make such a horrible animation, I really feel sorry for you, Soundarya. This is not your cup of tea. Please don't spoil your father's name.
Rajni's sudden entry into social media and his wish of Soundarya opting for the family way only doubles up my fear.

I learned long ago, never to wrestle with a pig. You get dirty, and besides, the pig likes it.

Could I invite you to see it another way ?
More of substantial materials were shared here in the past few months, rather than photo-shoped pictures, self-style acclaims and tweet trash dumpings. These materials were researched and synthesised to make a commoner easily understand, including the source materials for those who wish to look beyond. Personally, I never saw anyone been broken from expressing their views in this thread. Just that they were chanelised. If they did not get it, then they did not even understand what they spoke about. Even after explanations about CGI, 3D Animations & Motion Capture, their current market and their influence in our movies and the potential for its rise in TFI thru the film Kochadaiiyaan, still people try to look at it in a grandeur scale.
The most important plea was to give the team a chance. Rajini's voice coupled by ARR music will uplift the movie. All we have to wait and see is the imagination circle of Madame Soundraya & here orchestration of post production works.
And as a reminder, criticization of the visuals were never a topic of interest as its an individuals likeness. Only when the torments of making a film using this technology (for the 1st time) was mercilessly slayed and slaughtering the attempt by including baseless comparisons with high generation games was brought to notice.
I am aware that most of us are Rajini Fans, and I assure you that our fear is in sync. I only have a upper fear, as I deceided to walk on the rope. Never I had talked about a film in such a scale, and I am prepared to face the consequences if its a dud.

If the story and screen play is good, I'm more than happy to watch thalaivar movie. I'm not a tech savvy guy who understands nuch of animation.... But i'm interested in gripping story and entertainment.....Since i do not have full faith on technical team, I do have a fear this might be colossal flop in BO.....At the end seeing thalaivar on big screen after long time... this time with my kid....
